“A nice small town BBQ experience. Counter service where the meat is sliced to order. Good selection of sides: green beans (maybe vegetarian...I didn't see or taste any bacon/pork/beef), pinto beans, roasted potatoes, potato salad, and I think I saw coleslaw. Add your own pickles/onions/jalapeños and white bread.Definitely excellent value compared to metropolis prices (say Houston or Austin)!”

“In the quaint town of Fayetteville is a hidden gem. On the historic square, in the center of town, we found the The Wine Bar located in the Grand Fayette Hotel. This husband and wife owned boutique hotel has an incredible restaurant. Remarkable atmosphere, excellent service. The chef, owner is always out touching tables. My favorite is Sunday brunch, each item on the À volonté menu is prepared to order. Nothing says brunch like Eggs Benedict paired with a mimosa. But all of the offering are scrumptious.”
“Awesome spot! Soooo much character. We rode our bikes over from Thousand Trails campground. Bar is clean, and bartender/owner has incredible stories. In fact you can even pick up a few of the books he's written if you're lucky! Shuffleboard, pool, big TV, and cheap beer. Awesome spot, even if there aren't cars in the lot... stop!”

“what I thought would be a great experience turned into a dreadful affair for my family. you should educate your staff on special needs children and service dogs. you won't see my family there again”

“Loved this place. Best chicken fried steak I’ve had in Texas. Pro tip: brown gravy on the taters white gravy on the steak. I don’t know if the rolls were scratch made but loved the yeasty sweet moistness. Perfect for sopping up what you couldn’t get with your fork. Very cool historic building that was a bit rough around the edges but that’s a plus in my book. Plenty of cool neon signs. I’ll be back!”
“Even though it's small and connected to gas station, this place packs big flavors! I stopped in for breakfast while waiting for my car service. There's a smattering of tables and booths that are all clean. You order at the counter and the food is brought out to you. There are about 6/8 breakfast options and 16/18 lunch/dinner plates. I had the Huevos Rancheros over easy. Everything was prepared perfectly. Good yolk and salsa, you could taste the chiles in every bite and the flour tortillas were fresh. Can't wait to try lunch next time I'm in the area.”

“Went looking for Apple Struedel I had at a family gathering and found out had to pre-order it. But loaded up on a box full of awesome goodies. The kolaches and apple fritters were yummy. The apple and blue berry crumbles also good. They were very nice folks. A table of locals were visiting drinking coffee etc. Good place!”

“We had a family wedding to attend in New Ulm and found ourselves running extremely early. Lucky for us, Pivos was open! It was a welcome sight and a great stop after an hour and a half in the car. Gave us a chance to stretch our legs, go to bathroom, and pass the time with a bevvie. Great little place, friendly folks, and the weather was perfect for sitting on the patio.”
“Small town bar with BIG character! Beer & wine only, but you can bring your own liquor and buy the set up from the bar. They also have pizza, popcorn, and a snack bar. Great service, fantastic environment, and the friendliest locals around!”

“The food was delicious but the stuff they clean the tables with smells pretty bad. Some kind of lemon bleach. Still, everything at our table looked great. My ribeye was cooked just right. The folks working were very nice and gave very good service. I just wish they would get a little less industrial cleaner!!”

“Definitely use the app beforehand to make it easier. Also, being able to customize your order can make for great burgers. Whataburger is the best fast food place ever, and that is fact, not opinion. Long live the Whataburger! Also, drive-through can take a while. It's still worth it ”

“I was craving some kolaches and found this place on my way to work. I ordered ham, cheese and jalapeño and sausage kolaches. As you can see it in the pictures ham and cheese fillings were huge but I was kind of disappointed with the pork sausage kolache, fillings were less than full. As far as kolache breading were buttery and soft. Overall if you are craving some kolaches this is the place to go.”
