“In the quaint town of Fayetteville is a hidden gem. On the historic square, in the center of town, we found the The Wine Bar located in the Grand Fayette Hotel. This husband and wife owned boutique hotel has an incredible restaurant. Remarkable atmosphere, excellent service. The chef, owner is always out touching tables. My favorite is Sunday brunch, each item on the À volonté menu is prepared to order. Nothing says brunch like Eggs Benedict paired with a mimosa. But all of the offering are scrumptious.”

“Loved this place. Best chicken fried steak I’ve had in Texas. Pro tip: brown gravy on the taters white gravy on the steak. I don’t know if the rolls were scratch made but loved the yeasty sweet moistness. Perfect for sopping up what you couldn’t get with your fork. Very cool historic building that was a bit rough around the edges but that’s a plus in my book. Plenty of cool neon signs. I’ll be back!”

“We had a family wedding to attend in New Ulm and found ourselves running extremely early. Lucky for us, Pivos was open! It was a welcome sight and a great stop after an hour and a half in the car. Gave us a chance to stretch our legs, go to bathroom, and pass the time with a bevvie. Great little place, friendly folks, and the weather was perfect for sitting on the patio.”

“We visited them today for the first time! Omg let me tell you!!! I’ll be stopping there every time I driver between Houston and Austin now! Definitely worth a little detour! Food is great, beer and wine are phenomenal! My 3 and 5 yo absolutely loved all the animals and beautiful grounds for play! What a happy place! We spoke to the owners and they are just the sweetest people! Love that place!”

“Local bakery, food mart and store.Amazing home-cooked food, from breakfast to dinner.Great selection of items with a nice variety of specialty items.The store portion, which carries a variety of items from toys, clothing to home items. Their buyer does a great job, their variety is wonderful.”

“Atmosphere was perfect, lawn games included a giant Connect Four, Corn hole and had two Disc Golf baskets. The flight of wines/meads was terrific, my favorite was the Cranberry. Bought a few bottles of wine and honey as gifts. Kept one bottle of the Creamy churned Chai Honey and Omg, please do yourself a favor and buy a jar of it. Not very crowded, out in an area where everyone seems to sort of know each other. Good food (pizza) and the turkeys were amusing to watch”

They don't over flavor their beers, have a good selection, good staff, prices are typical, good food good atmosphere. Very special place.”

“The food was delicious but the stuff they clean the tables with smells pretty bad. Some kind of lemon bleach. Still, everything at our table looked great. My ribeye was cooked just right. The folks working were very nice and gave very good service. I just wish they would get a little less industrial cleaner!!”

“Finally, ribs with seasoning and not just smoke! The meat was tender for the most part, and the potato salad was better than most restaurants. As a truck driver, it is hard to find accommodating space, and they had truck parking! It's a good deal and good food... check 'em out!”
