was there at 11:15am.. had to clean my own table because half of the table tops were contaminated. Restrooms are filthy. Buffet line was semi clean but not covered by enough glass. The whole place needs a good cleaning. Mr. Owner traveling customers are a huge percentage towards your margins.. I work hard for my money and want to spend it where I feel comfortable. I root for small businesses but small businesses need to help themselves.

Alan Peters and his crew served dinner for our wedding of 100+ on November 1st. We’ve loved his BBQ for years. The portions are generous and prepared with care. He’s got a team of dedicated staff—shoutout to Johnnie, Alicia, and Pam!—who pour a lot of heart into their work and the food. Dinner was brisket, sausage (yum!), and chicken, with green beans, pinto beans, coleslaw, German butter potatoes, and BBQ sauce, with sweet and unsweet tea. Everyone had PLENTY to eat. Alan is the guy to go to when you want to feed a crowd!

These are the best ribs I've had. They just fall off the bone they're so tender and juicy! Flavorful. Their sauce is delicious. 10/10 for me. Their peach cobbler and ice cream is good as well. I'll be back. 😋

I'd been by this place a dozen times and always wanted to go in. I finally got the opportunity Friday. What amazing luck. We drove up just in time for the Friday buffet. If you're looking for a good, solid BBQ buffet with a good selection of your favorite sides, go here. Just .. go here. You'll thank me. It's that place you've been looking for. Picnic tables with paper towels. An inventory storage room converted to overflow seating. A healthy dose of old metal signs hanging on the walls. Friendly staff. And delicious food. What a bargain. I live in Clear Lake but will arrange my future trips thru Ellinger to give me an opportunity to stop here from now on.
