A nice small town BBQ experience. Counter service where the meat is sliced to order. Good selection of sides: green beans (maybe vegetarian...I didn't see or taste any bacon/pork/beef), pinto beans, roasted potatoes, potato salad, and I think I saw coleslaw. Add your own pickles/onions/jalapeños and white bread.Definitely excellent value compared to metropolis prices (say Houston or Austin)!
Yummy!! Had the jumbo brisket plate! Enough food for 2 and a three year old! Brisket delish and BBQ sauce the bomb!!! Atmosphere and staff so sweet. And for those lovers of soft serve, you get ice cream with dinner! Great stop on the way back to Austin from Houston!

10 out of 10 would recommend!! Me and my boyfriend were traveling from New York and in any you can find everything but amazing authentic southern style smoked brisket and ribs in my opinion and we were hoping to find a good spot !!! Peter’s BBQ hit all the boxes we always say the older a place looks the less fancy it is the more we want it because it’s not where you sit and eat it’s what you eat and with who! The ribs where outstanding juicing and made to perfection ! The house bbq sauce was perfect had a light kick to it and. It overbearing in the sweetness ! The brisket bark was so flavorful and juicy !! They gave pretty good cheese and jalapeño home made sauce which was nice and Smokey the potato salad was out of this world made to perfection !! Was t the biggest fan of the banana pudding but I was so full from how much k ate that I didn’t need it they had a nice home made iced tea !! Would return if I was in the are we happen to see it in gos on our way from Houston to San Antonio !! Great spot !! It also has enough space in parking for truckers or any size vehicle you have

Came in for lunch about 1:45 PM. My entrées and my sides were as close to ice cold as you can get I had brisket and ribs. I can almost assure you this meat was cooked at least 4 to 5 days ago. Just tasted old and stale looked gray and sad, I don’t expect people to jump over the counter with excitement but a smile and at least a little good energy will help give this place a better vibe it was just sad. Bummer it looked pretty cool from the outside and the interior was a good old-fashioned classic restaurant just very dirty and unkept. For $25 for two meats and two sides plus a beverage I would expect much better than this. Oh well onto the next barbecue adventure.

First time here and it was delicious! Everyone was friendly, food was amazing!!! Can't wait to come back and try something new!!
Finally, ribs with seasoning and not just smoke! The meat was tender for the most part, and the potato salad was better than most restaurants. As a truck driver, it is hard to find accommodating space, and they had truck parking! It's a good deal and good food... check 'em out!

Went here after reading great reviews. Probably worst bbq resteraunt I've ever been to. Staff was unfriendly. Food was horrible. We did get there towards closing time but we were treated like scum and they also expected us to eat scum. I didn't even feel it was worth getting my money back since they were so unfriendly. I just threw it away and got some gas station snacks.
