The Local Fork has a cozy log-cabin vibe both inside and out, with warm, bright windows and a clean, welcoming atmosphere. The food is great-you really can’t go wrong with any of their fried options. The blooming onion is a must-try, it’s delicious and big enough to share with the whole family. They also bring out complimentary cornbread and dinner rolls, and the butter was so creamy. Service was fast, and the wait staff was awesome. We also loved the variety on the menu....
Much to my delight, they had a Monte Cristo sandwich on the menu. I’ve not been able to find one since Bennigan‘s closed. This one was good, but not quite on the same level as Bennigan’s (or at least my memory of it).
The buffet looks like it would’ve been a good choice; everything appeared to be piping hot and there was quite a selection. Everything on the salad bar looked fresh. The regular menu was extensive and I think I’ll try something from it the next...
OMGOODNESS great little place. I ordered the Chicken Ranch Quesadillas. My daughter has the Cajun Chicken Pasta. Both were HUGE portions. Both were absolutely delicious. Service was phenomenal. Our waitress Brittany was so attentive and courteous. Then her little sidekick McKinley was just as sweet and polite and adorable as could be. Will most definitely be back.
