xcellent place!!! We eat here a couple times a week. Food is always great, staff always pleasant, portions good size and prices are more than reasonable! The best bbq sauce you will find EVER!!!! My favorite restaurant anywhere!
Stopped in while driving thru Emory. Thought I would give them a try. Stood in the line for a bit before someone acknowledged me. Some of the sides looked a little dried out. I got the 2 meat plate (brisket & sausage) with potato salad and bbq beans. The brisket was tender and super delicious, full of flavor. I wasn't thrilled with the sausage, seemed a little dry and not much flavor. I especially enjoyed the potato salad, reminded me of what my wife makes. 2 thumbs up...
Picked up a pulled pork sandwich, chopped brisket sandwich, a large side of mashed potatoes and a large side of pinto beans, as well as two apple cobbler sides to go. Took to my grandma so we could eat dinner and my grandma said it is the best food she has had in two weeks. Will definitely be back!
The restaurant was very clean, bathroom was clean, service was friendly and fast. Parking was easy to obtain and parking lot is easy to access and leave from the highway....
