It's usually really good. But this time, They forgot the gravy to the chicken fried steak, which had us waiting 10 minutesto get some. The coleslaw was terrible and sour. I'd go again because like I said it usually delicious. Just stay away from the coleslaw.

Ordered there menu special Chicken and dressing was awful. The dressing was green and the only chicken was a few tiny pieces in the gravy. This restaurant is old old and not nice inside. My sister said I can feel a nice breeze sitting here. I looked under the table and there was a large opening in the wall with no vent covering. ..Yikes !!

Ordered Chicken Fried Steak. Sides were okra. Which was good. Mashed potatoes which were powder box potatoes. Bad after taste and heartburn from this food. Breakfast is good but not their lunch or dinner menu

Service was good, friendly, food fair. Biscuits the size of crackers. My wife said it was the dirtiest restaurant she’s ever been in in the U.S. I’ve begin dirtier but not in 20 years.

We had a great lunch here! We ordered the chicken fried steak that had been hand cut and battered. It was quite good. The service was very nice as well. The restaurant itself is a bit run down (including the bathrooms) but that's some of the charm I suppose.

I love to find "where the locals eat" spots, and this is one. The waitstaff knew many of the people when they walked in. Food was home-cooked and delicious. It could use some upgrades, but then it might lose that "hometown" feel. Pick this place over the chains. You won't be disappointed.

Traveling through on our way to Ft. Hood and stopped for lunch. Best pancakes I've ever had. The staff was friendly and very attentive. We will definitely eat here again.
