Ana's Island Grill is a little gem in the city. I ordered the Hawaiin BBQ Plate, and it was decent, for me at least. But I also ordered the Coconut Shrimp which was probably the best or close to the best I've had. The only place that rivals or beats it is Red Lobster which is a high bar for me. Try this place out!

This review is kinda of hard to do! I’m from OKC, so my Hawaiian food experience has been Chains, like Hawaiian Bros and Mo Bettahs. With that being said, I still think the food is good here. My favorite is the shrimp!!! I also had Hawaiian chicken, which was good as well, very juicy and covered with the sauce. I would rate it a 8/10. Strictly because of the comfort and homeyness the food has. It’s the real thing without a doubt. I paid $20 flat with Hawaiian Chicken, 2 shrimp the rice, Mac salad and Salad. I think that’s great value for what I received. I love Mac Salad, I do prefer mines to be more wet but still again, this taste like scratch, straight from the kitchen hand crafted. I can’t wait to come back and try the fried fish!!!

Ana's Island Grill is THE BEST!! I always get the chicken katsu and man is it good!!! Their sauce is off the charts!! Hawaii's got nothing on Ana's Island Grill! I purposely stay close to the restaurant when I'm in town just to make sure I dine with them! When I lived in town, this was go-to eatery, hands down! The staff is AMAZING!!

The food here is DELICIOUS! My favorite is the chicken katsu, spam musubi, and BBQ short rib. The short ribs taste exactly like home (Hawaii). I couldn't find any other restaurant that tasted like that here in Texas. My family has their favorites, too. They give a lot. If I could go here every week, I would. Lol.
Also, they do have tables on the inside and outside. But no air conditioner. Only a fan.
Also, don't get mad if the lady doesn't smile or greet you when she takes your order. (Only reason I gave 4 stars on the service.) The other lady is super nice. They are really busy and working in that heat.
Give this place a try. I absolutely will keep going back.
Mahalo for the delicious food!

First things first...The food was great! It is easy to get to and is close to the DFW Airport. I had Chicken Katsu with coconut shrimp. Excellent!! the macaroni salad is really good and interesting. I loved the ladies working. It's a small dive (not a bad thing) like you might find on a back road in Honolulu. Definitely worth your money.
