Just went by the drive thru about 1:50pm on Monday 9/16. Order the grilled Salmon meal with coleslaw, broccoli and the rice they serve with it. And only got 2 pcs of fish. So check your orders before driving away! Jeez… ?
Didn’t even give me half my meal. After I sat in line for 30 minutes! They have no clue what they are doing.

Food is so good and service is amazing. Great atmosphere super clean and friendly. Manager is a great guy his name is Monty and he’s awesome. Def worth checking the spot out. The tartar sauce is really good too. Hush puppies and fries are fresh and hot!!! Fish is nicely battered and not oily. Really tasty. The Cole slaw is so good. Worth getting it.

Wished they’d pay more attention to orders!! The food was good yes but basically got called a liar after the order was read back correctly but he didn’t type it in correctly so we got the wrong food .. I called to let em know and it was like no you said regular ?!! Well I didn’t want free food I just wanted maybe a sorry ma’am we’ll do better nope none of that!! Well I’ll not be going back! This was the second time this happened this was my final chance!! I see why they aren’t busy at all

I finally came here one day to see what the hype was about and I was pretty impressed as far as fast food seafood goes. I kinda liked Long John Silver’s before but now I prefer Captain D’s and would actually eat here again.
I placed an online order which was a breeze, (they give you a coupon for free hush puppies when you sign up btw.) I ordered the deluxe seafood platter for myself and 4 piece battered fish combo for the hubby. Everything was cooked well, nothing was too chewy or too hard. Coleslaw didn’t taste weird like other places, fries were tasty, and I could probably eat their hush puppies all day if they came in a bag like potato chips. Portion sizes were decent too. I actually had leftovers.
Not sure if I caught them on a good day or what but my experience was nothing like the negative reviews.

I had never heard of Captain D's until this location opened near my home. It really feels like a breath of fresh air, offering a menu that is vastly different from most other fast food joints and remaining affordable. It has quickly become my go-to when I need a quick seafood fix without paying out the nose for it.
