“Guilty pleasure of mine is surprising the family on weekdays with donuts for breakfast. (Also means no cooking and associated dishes to wash for me). This little shop makes the best French crullers because they melt in your mouth. The fritters, old fashioned, red velvet cake, blueberry cake, eclair, and sausage rolls are also delicious. Even the plain glazed are the best in town. This time we stocked up on sausage rolls. Even at 10a on a Sunday they had a variety to choose from. Prices are good but they’ve gone up a bit over the 14 years we’ve been customers. Worth it so they can stay in business. We also live near Shipleys and we prefer Donutland. The owners are incredibly friendly too.“

“10/18/24 @8:15am drive thru - I was served by Crystal. She was very bubbly, which is rare for a drive thru personnel. She is perfect for this position as she brighten people’s day before they go to work. I ordered a caramel craze coffee and realized I got a large black coffee after I already drove away. I am already running late but decided to go back since I really can’t drink black coffee. I was already irritated at this point but when I got back to Crystal she said with a smile “YOU GOT THE WRONG COFFEE! AND THAT WAS MY FAULT! I AM SO SORRY!”. She gave me my coffee and I did not even got the chance to correct or complain. I left feeling better even though i’m already late. I even took this time to write this review before going into office. She’s great! I hope all drive thru workers are like her. She needs to do an enterprise level training and i hope she becomes the model for great customer service. I acknowledge they don’t get paid enough to be this bubbly in the morning but it makes a difference!“

I was just walking around getting to see the area at night and I was very impressed. I couldnt decide on their wide array or flavors of Old Fashions so I just grabbed a regular Old Fashion and an Iced Blueberry donut.

“This is the best donut shop. I enjoyed several donuts with my kids while traveling Texas and this was the best. The donuts had the perfect balance—not overly sweet, but wonderfully fluffy and indulgent. The standout for me was the sausage kolache, which I bought a box as a present for friends (and they loved it as well!). The staffs were so warm and friendly, they reminded me of my grandma. I’ll absolutely make a point to stop by again the next time I’m in Texas.

I stopped In around 930am on a Wednesday and a lot of the stuff was sold out.
I wanted to try the jalapeño cheddar sausage kolache but that was sold out too.

“I visited this establishment on a Saturday morning at 0900. Great assortment, they even had toppings such as peanuts and also coconut, so that's a + for my grading. Donuts look so plump and are soft.

My first thought was why their Spinach Bistro was so expensive. But, once I dug into it, I felt that it worth every penny. Right from the detailed design to its taste, it was heavenly.

The donuts are delicious and they even have some unique items that I have never seen offered at other donut shops.The first is pictured in the box and looks like a giant drop biscuit. It is essentially a biscuit with cheese and ground sausage mixed into the dough. It is really really good and is my all time favorite! I've never come across this item at any other donut shop and never leave Kimmy donuts without it.The next item that I just tried for the first time today is the little spinach pastry square with the lattice top. Another customer was picking up two for his wife and he told me she loved them so I bought one and I now understand why. Definitely recommend trying at least once.Last but not least of course are the donuts. They are always fresh with melt in your mouth donut holes and filled donuts that are filled to order depending on which filling you want. They offer raspberry, lemon, and custard. I tried the raspberry and loved it! The other nice thing about her donuts is kimmy offers mini apple fritters (pictured in the box) in case the normal size is too large and today she even had mini cinnamon rolls.The donut case picture was from a previous visit, and while the case may look small at quick glance don't be tricked into thinking the selection isn't good.
