Well, looks like Kroger is having a grand opening. Not sure what justifies grand opening but here’s what I observed today. They bought new carts, big plastic carts. All the small carts are gone. They cleaned the floor which did brighten the store. I had a list of items I was going to purchase but the prices, yikes! Way higher than Target or Walmart. Like dollars different for some products I checked. I would still recommend just purchasing their lost leaders and head down the street to Target for your basic groceries.
This is my first review: 1 star at the time. I used to love Kroger. I did 80% of my grocery shopping there however now I’m down to only buying the digital deals and only when they’re really an extreme value. When I go into Kroger sometimes there are carts, sometimes not. I can never find the small carts unless there happens to be one in the cart rack outside and I bring it in myself. The majority of the carts have something wrong with them so you walk around with all kinds of shakes, squeals and screeches coming from the wheels.
Let’s just say they have the products in stock and I head to the front to give them my hard earned money that’s where the real nightmare begins. First, prepare to wait. There’s one maybe two lanes open with a person in them but the bigger issue I have is, if you expect me to check out myself, have the freaking lanes opened.
Today when I went I waited in line at the self checkout long enough for my ice cream to get squishy. When it was finally my turn, the register kept saying remove all my items when I hadn’t even started scanning. Where was the employee, not there to assist. Now I had to wait again to checkout my 9 items. I should have just said screw it and left.
Bottom line, I seriously don’t think it’s worth the time and frustration even for the hot priced items.. Kroger, I’m breaking up with you. It’s not me, it’s definitely YOU.

The store layout is ideal but they never seem to be fully stocked. Plenty of pallets out on the floor this morning but what good is it if the shopper has to wait because they stock in the morning rather than overnight when there are no shoppers? Also, please apologize to your millennial in-store shopper for me. I weighed my grapes on her scale and she seemed to be severely distraught over it. I know the world can be emotionally challenging for the super sensitive so please do let her know I will be happy to pay for a session at the psychologist if she feels her world has been upended and destroyed over the quick scale use for my grapes.

This Kroger needs better management, I go here often as it is closest to my house but I prefer other Kroger stores nearby. Items are out of stock often. There are these "clutter catcher" type of displays in each aisle that are a pain to maneuver around when the store is full of shoppers. I get they're trying to entice buyers but this is not the way. Makes shopping more cumbersome.

...never any food issues, but almost always need to wait a while for self checkout....and of course only 1 person on the register, and often the self register clerk is overwhelmed.

This belongs in the trash. DO BETTER KROGER. I stopped shopping produce here years ago and I took my mom shopping recently, got this for my kid and it’s absolutely horrible. The produce is never good anymore!

Kroger in Euless is the worst store I have ever been to. It's dirty always out of stuff only have maybe 2 cashiers working, it's just a store that is not kept well at all and alot of there items especially in the produce section are past the sell by date. Not friendly people either. I only by gas there now nothing else!!!!!!!!!
