Friendly staff but the place needs some work. Floors were sticky, paint peeling, water stains on ceiling and light fixtures were dusty.
Prices seemed kind of high for breakfast items. We tried their Two by Four, Real Texas Omelette and the Texas Combo.
I really like how their hash browns are crispy. The Texas Omelette was also good. Not overly cheesy like most places. Eggs, bacon, sausage and pancakes….not much to say.

Food and service is always great. We go up for lunch from work. Time is always great to eat and get back to work
Solid 3. Not great. Not terrible. The pie was underwhelming. I ordered a whole coconut creme pie and got it home to find out it was banana creme pie. It even had the coconut shavings on top. Also, it seemed as though they took a shortcut by replacing traditional meringue with cool whip.

I bet this place is great for breakfast, but I went for lunch and the chicken fried steak was severely overcooked. The breading was fine although a bit heavy but the steak was literally like jerky. Everyone in the restaurant was very nice and pleasant but the food just was not very good. The salads were passable, but basic lettuce and cheese only. I did have some fried squash that was good.
I think the restaurant used to be like a Black Eyed Pea restaurant and there was nothing wrong with the atmosphere. There was just nothing really great about the atmosphere either.
Again, I bet this place is amazing for breakfast, but I went for lunch and would not go back

The roast was really good! The macaroni would have been pretty good but it had way too much salt in it. So did the spinach. My friend couldn't eat it. The rolls were delicious, My friend said her Hamburger steak was delicious. Please try to use a little less salt.

Driving up, the exterior of the restaurant is attractive and well maintained, as is the condition of the parking lot. Walking in, the interior is smartly decorated providing a comfortable ambiance. We were greeted, seated, and provided drinks quickly. The menu is compromised of deliciously down-home plates that truly southern as well as Texan. My only "negative" is that for those of us who are trying to eat healthier, you are not going to find anything that won't clog your arteries. For us, this is great when we want "be bad,"
