They close before actual closing. I can't stand places that do that & refuse service to paying customers because they're too lazy to work until the store actually closes. R&B Tea would never! (MY FAV GO 2 PLACE)

To Owner Response: If I walk in 3 minutes before you close, you are still open. So, my review was accurate. Based on other review responses, I think you should probably redesign your views on customer service before you hurt your small business. If you would like to hire me as a consultant, let me know.

Let me start off by saying this review is not indicative of all ShareTeas that I've been to, only the one in HEB. There are several ShareTeas that are amazing to drink at, have better service, better flavor, better working conditions. This review is targeted towards only HEB ShareTea.

This location in particular is very low quality, in terms of flavor (the store either overdoes it with the sugar or doesn't crush the ice enough) and in terms of the store itself (not much seating, very empty). The price of this place is much higher than most bubble tea places in the area.

However, the reason I'm writing this review is because of the working conditions I've seen on display here. The staff generally tries to do their best, but are constantly worked down by executives and associates. For instance, lately I arrive to the store for the first time in months to see an associate (I believe his name is Michael) screaming profanities at his poor employees, right in the middle of the store, for everyone to see. It shouldn't matter what he was going through, he should not be swearing at crying high school girls who are already underpaid enough. I have never experienced such a worrisome sight at any occupation business I've been to.

I strongly suggest that whoever is looking for a bubble tea place to try out iTeaLounge off of Glade Street. They have much better seating, games, better flavor, and better prices. It's about a minute from ShareTea in HEB.

ShareTea is constantly trying to hire new workers to fill in the vacancies from high schoolers who quit. I promise you, THERES A REASON WHY THEY QUIT! KungFuTea and iTeaLounge are much better environments to work in!

I really enjoy Sharetea, but I was surprised that it took over 20 minutes to get my order, especially with only three people ahead of me and seven staff members working. It didn’t use to be this way, and I believe some additional training and professional guidance could really help improve efficiency.

The customer ahead of me mentioned this as well.
Wishing you the best—I know you guys can do it!

9/2024: $12.56 for the same 2 drinks now.
8/2022: As good as any other sharetea out there. This one sits to the left of Hopdoddy on the street leading up to the theater. Costs about $11.37 for two drinks: classic milk tea and qq happy family. Drinks come in one size, which is tall, unless you order split cups.

I’m writing this as an advice to management rather than a review. Having a staff that doesn’t have a clue of what they’re selling is very distasteful and leaves a mom and her two kids with very disappointing drinks.

Delicious variety of flavors for hot, cold or frozen boba tea! Fast service. Not much sitting room. A little pricey, but about par for the area.

Incredibly disappointed in the lack of human decency of this place. Me and my friend ordered two drinks and unfortunately my friend got sick in the bathroom(unrelated to the drinks). I asked the girl in the front for a cup of water and she refused to give me one without paying 92 cents. I told her it was for my friend getting sick and this is when she told me “if I give you this cup of water, management will see on the cameras and I will get in trouble”. I gave in and bought the water. I could not believe the callous and uncaring attitude this person had. If management is seriously not allowing them to give out a small cup of water when a person’s health is concerned, then they should work elsewhere and management should be ashamed of themselves. Please change this policy for future customers(couldn’t be me). Thank you for your time.
