My friend and I ate because we had heard how good it is. We ordered steaks and drinks. I ordered a Tequila Sunrise, it was supposed to be a double shot but it did not taste like there was any Tequila in it. Skip the mixed drinks. Also ordered a Tea. It was a very small glass and was never refilled. Not impressed with the service at all.

I ordered the Cowboy Steak and I destroyed it. Delicious piece of meat. The food is great, the atmosphere is great and there are plenty of things for the kids to do (an on site zoo). Treat yourself to this wonderful restaurant.

Awesome scenery, plenty of room and Delicious meat plates. Had two giant ribs and a thick brisket plate with cold slaw, beans, corn/cob and mushrooms in wine.......

Visited from SC and that's where family wanted to go - so off we went. I believe that the restaurant must serve Utility Grade Steak. I should have ordered the Salmon! Absolutely the worst piece of meat I have ever tried to eat. Totally flavorless and full of white gristle. Waiter seemed perplexed as to why I didn't want a box or doggie bag. I cannot stress enough how horrible the meat was - it isn't even graded (like Prime, Certified Black Angus, Choice, etc...) it is so bad. Can you give NO stars???

Looking to go to dinner 4 of July or favorite restaurant the Washoe house closed early so we thought we would call cattlemens I ask what time they were serving till they said 9 pm I said great do I need a reservation she said NO it is very slow I said we would be there in a half hour abou 6 with two other people going with us one was meeting us there so upon arrival we were greeted by the hostess we said dinner for four she intern asked if I had a reservation which I said I would’ve but the hostess on the phone said I did not need one and was told now we would have to wait .while there was open tables and now other people in front of us 10 minutes or so later we we’re finally seated.our waitress Sherri saved our anniversary dinner there was a lot of people wounding around with nothing to do like helping take dirty plates away or asking for water while Sherri is doing everything management needs to step up and get people to know and do there job .next time we will leave for the WASHOE house a bit earlier better food and service
