Great little diner! The service is friendly, just good old southern hospitality. I had the chicken fried steak and it was legit. Wife had the fish plate(fried catfish). I tried some and it was great. Good thing I donât live here I would be coming here every day. They also have several choices of homemade pies. Next time I am close to this area I will definitely be stopping here. Saw someone had a burger, it looked delicious and was not a small patty. Wish I could try everything. This is a place for some âhome cookinââ.

Skip it. This place has been on my list for a while. I should have known when the parking lot was empty that the 4+ star review may be wrong. I love a diner. Love diner food. I'm not thrown off by the smell of grease in the air or a million knick knacks in a quaint place. But this is not that. It was dirty. Dirty windows you can't see out of. Food on the floor and a wet amd sticky spot at our table. In the middle of the day, with no other customers and at least 2 employees. Unforgivable. Go across the street to Dairy Queen if you want a burger or around the corner to Sam's if you want a diner.

Stopped here on the way home from Galveston. Food is so good and fresh, everything is high quality ingredients and cooked well. Great variety of menu items. Great little place!! Service was good too!

Cool little diner. Burgers looked good. Salads were huge. I had the crawfish and shrimp etoufee special. Served over crispy cornbread dressing with fried Okra. Hamburger had a great seared with a sesame bun

Best food I've had, I would recommend trying this place it's good! Got the armadillo burger, and it taisted like a jalapeño popper and a burger had a baby. Altogether amazing food, amazing service, and amazing atmosphere!!!

I've never was soooo disappointed....I haven't been here in awhile and probably won't go back....I waitress was rude....talked to guy at tye counter never came back to see how our food was....fries were cold and half cooked...
This place is amazing..we've been eating here for years and just keeps getting better. The owner was our waitress and she is awesome..!!

Cute little restaurant, I have been here twice so far and the food and service has been consistent, fast and reliable. Servers are friendly, the food has been cooked just like we asked. Prices are great too. I will be back.

If I had all the money in the world I would 100% spend my whole life here. XD the staff here is amazing and they are so kind to my toddlers. It's got that small town feel to it and it is amazing. The sweet potato fries are the main reason I come but the rest of the food is equally as amazing.

Give this place a try It will not disappoint. I almost hate to review it because it's so good. At one time I travelled between Dallas and Houston weekly and ate here regularly. It's been 5 years since my last trip. I am delighted to report it's still great. Ruben, patty melt(ask for onions) Chicken fried steak still great. The waitress said pretty much the same staff since they opened. Not as many tempting home made desserts and I'd give the fries a miss. BUT the home made chips make up for them and then some. Great food. Took some chicken salad to go May have to travel back to Fairfield just for that. In a world where it seems nobody cares These folks do Good happy people
