Had the shrimp udon, the shrimp and veggies were delicious, however the noodles were covered in very small burnt particles. The noodles were inedible.

Fantastic food and service. We had a great time celebrating a birthday. Could not have asked for friendlier staff, chef, atmosphere. Food was delicious and so fresh. Large portions and expertly prepared. The chef was funny and very entertaining. Highly recommend.Kid-friendliness: We had 5 children ranging from 5y to 11y. They had a lot of fun and enjoyed the food. Smiles all around.

A hidden gem right in Fairview. Great service, great vibe, pristine bar, and very, very good hibachi.

Staff was nice and friendly. Chefs were funny and sociable. Fried rice was cooked well, not overly oily. Steak was good and the chef cooked the fat parts as well instead of throwing them away. Was a little pricey for the portions given.

Hello there! I must say, the Fairview side of the villages has been experiencing a downturn in atmosphere lately. However, it appears that there is some construction taking place, which hopefully indicates an upcoming revitalization.Upon our arrival, we were promptly seated. The server, who did not properly introduce herself or the establishment, approached us to take our drink order. Unfortunately, she made an error. Although I requested a glass of hot sake, she mistakenly brought out an entire bottle accompanied by an ice bucket. We proceeded to order hibachi steak and tuna tower. The server brought out the tuna tower first, but failed to provide us with any silverware, napkins, soy sauce, or chopsticks, leaving us with just a bowl of tuna in the center of our table. Realizing the oversight, we sought assistance from a helpful individual, who appeared to be the host rather than our assigned server. This gentleman promptly addressed our needs, displaying sincere attentiveness, which was greatly appreciated, especially considering the lacking service we had received thus far.Subsequently, only a bowl of rice was brought to our table, while the vegetables and steak were noticeably absent for approximately 5 to 7 minutes. We found ourselves wondering about the salad and soup that were supposed to be served as starters. Regrettably, when the server finally brought us soup, it turned out to be the wrong one, and the salad consisted of a mere 10 pieces of lettuce swimming in an excessive amount of liquid. However, thanks to the prompt action of the aforementioned gentleman (who was not our server), I was swiftly provided with a fresh salad. After quite the wait, the hibachi steak and veggies were finally brought to our table, and I must admit that the steak was, without a doubt, the most exceptional hibachi steak I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. It is disheartening, though, because the level of service provided by our server was truly abysmal, causing us to reconsider returning in the future. Perhaps it would be more prudent to patronize the establishment solely for takeout at some point. As a server myself, I have identified several essential qualities that one should have when serving tables in a professional context and regrettably, this restaurant made the decision to employ an individual who does not embody the high standards of food excellence that it consistently delivers.

Carpet is very sticky when walking on it, but overall I think it’s a good Hibachi place to eat at.

I stopped by for lunch on a Tuesday, and it was quite empty. That was expected, being early in the week. We wanted to try the hibachi. The atmosphere was nice, very open and airy. I didn't like the sticky feel of the carpet and floors. It showed that it had seen better days. The restroom also had only one sink, which I didn't like, since it was in a small corner. The hibachi cook was nice and funny and kept the kids entertained. The steak, fillet, chicken, shrimp, fried rice, and noodles were quite tasty. I'll be returning to try other menu items.I gave 4 stars because of the condition of the floors, but food-wise, it was all tasty.Kid-friendliness: Kid menu items and quite entertaining.

Quality, quantity, price, friendly, knowledgeable, attentive staff and off menu can not be beat in Dallas area.Everything on the menu is excellent. I have never been disappointed. My personal preference is Sashimi with their mildl jalapeño soy sauce. While Uchi is a dining experience. I will always opt for Aka, whether I am dining by myself, with a date, or with a group.
