This is a nice restaurant and bar. They have ample bar seating, indoor and outdoor seating, and a very classy atmosphere. You can ask someone to spend a lot of money on small things in this building. I enjoyed my Reuben and fries! I'm assuming this is a fairly new establishment because many of the beers tasted like they were still in the testing stages--not quite finished with the flavors they were trying to accomplish. In addition, they were either short on front-of-house staff or needed people to take care of more of their jobs. Our waiter was cool, calm and collected but seemed overwhelmed and his co-workers wouldn't talk to him.

We typically meet friends at their FtW location. This was our first time at the FB location which is closer to home. As always it did not disappoint! The service, food, drinks, and beer are awesome! Great atmosphere! I actually like this location better. I'm a gin/vodka drinker, and my husband prefers beer... as do most of our male family & friends. I love that they have a full bar unlike most breweries... most breweries don't consider their non-beer drinking patrons. And, the ones that do typically serve white wine (not my thang), occasionally one has red wine options but hard to drink on a hot day IMO. They love it/we love it.

Great new brewpub to check out eith wide range of beers with interesting ingredients, I enjoyed the stouts and beer made from basmati rice. The taco pizza and Tikka Poutine were great if your not averse to dairy.Parking can be tight if you got a big vehicle. Service is on par with other brewpubs, we didn't have any small talk. fyi, The host station is in the back

Don't let the Brewpub in the name fool you, the food is absolutely amazing (definitely better than traditional 'pub fare'). We had the Brussels (by far the best I've had at any restaurant), fried pickles, and the Chicken Fried Steak. All excellent. Can't wait to go back and try the Pork Chop, the pizzas and the salads. And the beers are very, very good as well as reasonably priced.Service was excellent - super friendly folks and very attentive.Very happy to have Bankhead now in Farmers Branch, will be one of our go-to restaurants going forward.

We have been to Bankhead several times now. Has become one of our go to spots. Haven’t had anything bad yet. The fried pickles are to die for. Have tried several pizzas and they are all unique and different and amazing. 10 outta 10 would

Worst place ever. We were kicked out because we cheered too loudly twice .We had ordered food zero drinks and hate to say but felt we were singled out because of the color of our skin but told we were "too loud". So come to this brewery if you want a "quiet" library ambiance to sit down and have nachos and beer. Farmers Branch showing its true color.

I'm not even sure where to begin... I suggested this BREWERY, not a FINE DINING restaurant, to my girlfriends who decided to get together and catch up. I didn't let them know I'd be joining them, and when I walked in, my dear friend excitedly said: "woo-hoo!" Keep in mind it was busy, lots of noise and conversations happening, along with music playing overhead. I sat down, and within seconds, the acting manager, Ryan, approached our table and said he had had several complaints about our table being "loud." He didn't ask if I'd like a drink or if we needed anything , but rudely and unprofessionally just said complaints had been made. The interesting part was that none of us had been drinking. The food had arrived just moments before I joined in, so it wasn't like we were acting like a group of belligerent drunks! We were simply reuniting after several months of not seeing each other and obviously happy about catching up. We felt very unwelcome and even racially discriminated against as we were the ONLY Hispanic group in this establishment surrounded by Caucasians and the "loud" ones. Hmm... This was my second time visiting and my last. Farmers Branch is a melting pot of cultures, and you must learn to embrace it as it's quite clear we were singled out unfairly. It's evident that exclusivity is your business model!

Amazing food. Pizza is great. Chicken fried chicken is great. All the apps are wonderful. I like low beams for beer, but it's all good.

My ONLY complaint is the lack of baby changing table.Steve was phenomenally welcoming and gracious. He made sure that everything was amazing. Our server Alora was also fantastic. There was no point during the night where we lacked anything. Our water was filled at all times. Dirty dishes were cleared immediately. Any request I had, she worked on right away. I am never this generous in giving 5 star reviews but this evening definitely deserved one.The banana pudding was one of THE best we’ve ever had. We consider ourselves banana pudding connoisseurs and THIS banana pudding was the cherry on top of a fabulous evening!

Great renovation of the place! Much more inviting than the last brewery. The beer was delicious and the service was great!! I was not impressed with the food we got. We ordered the nachos and the cheese was water consistency on the bottom of the plate and wasn’t on any of the chips and the dish was cold. Will be back to try more food probably 1 more time incase it was a fluke, but was disappointed in nachos.**Update March 2024**We have now been back two more times and I can say the food has been phenomenal!! The fried pickles are the best I’ve ever had, and the salmon and half chicken are absolutely delicious. I always get an extra side of broccolini too, they cook it to perfection! Will definitely be making this our local spot!!

Keep the Momentum

A lot of detail and nuance was taken into consideration to make this appear to be a cozy and simple little brewpub. The chairs glide noiselessly on the floor. The four-ounce sampler size beers are perfect for trying or for those people such as myself that just need a few sips. The larger beers are, of course, available and appealing. Just a touch of steampunk decor can be found in the bar stools and restroom appliances. Cozy and comfy with some pumpin’ music and attentive staff. All good stuff. Come in and enjoy brunch or lunch or a snack. It’s all good.

My daughter and I are in town for a concert and decided to check out this place for dinner last night. IT WAS AMAZING! Alora was so friendly and attentive. She was extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond for us. I can't wait to come back into town and eat here again!
