“Great People, Good Food, Excellent Breakfast, Good Coffee and Ice Tea, A great bacon cheeseburger and chicken fried steak sandwich, cooked to order fried chicken, awesome waffles, have you seen their Pies?? This place is great and if something isn’t right, they will make it right. Awesome Breakfast Counter at the pass, diner style. As far as Dallas Diners go, it’s one of the remaining few. My order… 3 Eggs over medium, crispy bacon, order of sausage, crispy home fries.“

“I was at Dennys 8.7.24 at 7 to 8 something. The service was great, the food was excellent, and the dining room was clean. The problem came when I was ready to check out. We had a coupon that states if I spend $30, you can get $10 off. In regard to the coupon, it allowed me to be able give the $10 that I would save to the server. When I went to check out the coupon would NOT take. (Keep in mind, I just got this coupon on Sunday when I left Dennys.) She called a manager, and the manager stated that she was NOT able to use my coupon because it was expired. I asked could she honor the coupon because I just got the coupon on Sunday. She stated, NO. Then she said that we had coupons on our ticket already. We had 3 meals, and 2 kid's meals and kids eat free after 4 p.m. I explained that is not what the coupon stated. Then she looked at the other coupons, which was the same coupons. She proceeds to remove the box and said that they were all expired and kept my coupon as well. I had to pay regular price $35 to pay the bill. was not happy about that at all. Also, a couple behind me had the same exact problem. I waited around to make sure she didn't honor their coupon, and she didn't. Now we all left out disappointed because we spent more to honor the coupon, and it wasn't valid. :(“

“Run don’t walk! This is the sweetest lil old time mom and pop diner and the service was excellent. The owner‘s granddaughter actually waited on us and she was so kind. The food is home cooked with lots of love and you can tell it when you take your first bite. My husband is a vegetarian and he thoroughly enjoyed his meal. I on the other hand am not a vegetarian and I equally enjoyed mine. Don’t forget to top off your meal with a piece of amazing coconut cream pie!“

“I placed an Uber order for the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes, black-eyed peas, a salad, and cornbread. The food arrived very well packaged and was still hot. I have to say, the food was absolutely delicious! This was my first time eating here, and I will definitely be back. The black-eyed peas were the best I’ve ever had from a restaurant. I really appreciate the care they took in handling and packaging my food so well.“

“It was late when we arrived and we were told to grab a menu and seat ourselves. We did which was no problem. The man who told us he usually washes dishes took our order. Food arrived fairly timely for the situation at that time. Food was decent and refills were hard to get. I would give them another chance. Maybe more staff next time.“
