“We stumbled on this place quite by accident and I'm so glad we did! What a wonderful breakfast! Such a true "neighborhood breakfast spot". John was incredibly friendly and the food was amazing. You could tell there were old time regulars there and also people who it was their first time as well. Everyone was greeted and treated the same, like old friends. Oh, and they made the cutest pancakes for my kids! Loved it here and will definitely come back!“
“Chicken fry was tremendous.Mashed potatoes, delicious.Corn, well.. kinda bland.*pass the salt*Interested in making it back in for a breakfast experience. From what I could see the plates looked great. These folks have pies. When I say pies, I mean one of the better selections I’ve ever encountered.I assume the greatest spread in Dallas County.Although I didn’t have room to try one on this first time in.. I could see myself stopping in on a pie date, soon.“
“Food was delicious, owner gave us menu recommendations and a lot of the salsas and sauces are from scratch, service was sweet and quick, prices were reasonable. Very "mom and pop" in the best way! Country diner feel in the middle of the city. I'll definitely be back!“
“Our server Nephele was amazing I don't know if I'm saying her name well but I tried but overall she was amazing and very kind I absolutely appreciate herDietary restrictions: They will go out there way to make sure you get what you need if you on a diet“
“It’s expensive. I will admit. Expect to spend $20-30 a person. But OUTSTANDING FOOD.Dietary restrictions: If you prefer your food prepared a certain way, I’m certain they will honor it.Parking: In Turtle Creek, parking is validated, depending on restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: It has wheelchair accessibility.“
“I went here with a friend just the other day. Over all I sincerely love it however the only complain I have is this my friend had scrambled eggs with cheese but their really wasn't enough cheese on her eggs . I sincerely believe if a customer request something that's not to much trouble to do any fine establishment should if it's within their position to do so , should honor that request. It's what makes great customers service. The woman she asked if she could do that for her had a bit of a lil attitude:( when my friend asked for more cheese please on her eggs and told her we charge a dollar for it and I was completely stunned ?. Why ? I would never do that to any customer and it wouldn't have hurt their business if she asked for a lil more cheese... other than that it was good. My friend vow not to come back , but I maybe coming back well maybe .“
“I really enjoyed my time here, the atmosphere was nothing short of exuberant. I also had the pleasure of visiting the lovely garden outback, so breath taking. I especially appreciate the fact that Garden Café caters to all, rather you're a family or single person the atmosphere is very welcoming and comfortable. I definitely will return!“
“I stopped by for a quick lunch and was very impressed. It’s just as small on the inside as it looks on the outside, but the food was delicious and service was fast. I got the chicken fried steak with green beans and potato salad. Everything tasted amazing but I cannot say enough good things about that potato salad, 12/10 recommend.“
“It was my first time at this location in a long time about 8 yrs or so. It seem like rush hour. Every table was taken. And they did have a wait time. Which it seem like it went by really fast. Someone sat us down and we waited for about 9-10 min before our waiter came by to greet us. Then we told him we need a min or two. He politely said okay I'll give you guys a couple more min. Great service beside the fact that he was slammed with tables. Haha.. my only negative is that my food was alittle bit cold in the centerof my pot roast vegetables were a little bit cold as well. Everything else was like I remember delicious. This is truly a Beautiful gem in Oakcliff, Tx. Theres always a little something there that blows my mind. Always fine something from 1979 hotwheel car. To someones Mug shot .. always something. Check it out guy.“
“Loved everything about this cute neighborhood cafe. Staff was welcoming. Food was served deliciously hot and tasty. Not a bad cup of coffee. Omelette was so delicious, extra crispy hash browns. Not much of a biscuit fan, but it wasn’t a deal breaker for me. Can’t wait to come back to Dallas and enjoy some delicious diner food with reasonable pricing.“
“It's an OK diner. The staff are very friendly and the place is nice and clean and seems as though new booths, tables, and chairs were added. The restrooms were also very clean when we visited. The food was not that great to me though. The hash browns tastes like they used old, burned grease and the eggs on my omelette were burned. I really don't like the smell of burned eggs, nor the taste. I did enjoy the grits and my toast. My daughter had french toast, but she said it tastes a bit like garlic toast. She pointed to the edge of it and there was garlic toast type seasoning on it. We've been here before, and it hasn't been that good on any occasion.Kid-friendliness: They have a kid's menu.“
“Met the wonderful owner today along with wonderful food being served here and very satisfied and it is about mom and pop as you can get. It is a cash only restaurant. Hopefully one day they will have an ATM here. But the food is authentic.. corn and flour tortillas are homemade.. that's what I'm talking about!!!“
“Can't beat the migas with chorizo and the hash browns. Wife loves the chicken fried chicken and the veggies. Yes, getting seated is confusing and they always seem to be a little disorganized. If that bothers you, then try to go at off times.“
“Was greeted at the door by Host Betsy and another waiter. They were very friendly and welcoming. Talked about our spring break. Cleaned our table again and dried it in front of us. Our waitress Adlee was amazing. The food was hot and fresh and brought back in timely manner. Great location right off Central Expressway.Parking: Plenty of parking spots.“
“Nice small breakfast diner. Love the old school charm they have here. Decent service and not too long of a wait time. Only complaint will be not answering call in orders. No matter how busy make sure to give the best customer service possible. Other than that this is a hidden gem to try.“
“Though this is called a Diner it is a Brinch place. They close at 2:30 pm on weekdays and 4:00pm on weekends. You need prior reservation. It may have over 50 tables but is always crowded. Ambiance is good for a brunch restaurant. The service was very good and food was unique and good.Parking: parking in a crowded shopping mallWheelchair accessibility: Accessible.“
