We were excited to come back again after about two years away. The food is just as good as ever. Not a fan of the coffee, however, but my husband really enjoyed it. More than anything, the service is wonderful and our sweet waitress Yolanda make the experience all the better. Try the avocado toast - it's phenomenal and they use an entire avocado! The salsa is very tasty and although not very spicy, we really enjoyed it! A fun, open, light and comfortable place to enjoy a nice relaxing breakfast on any weekend!

Wonderful place we discovered for breakfast! Highly recommend. Convenient to North Dallas and adjacent to DART station. Plenty of parking. Very nice inside-mix of farmhouse cool and urban diner. Outstanding food. I had Mediterranean omelet and it was a nice change from typical omelet with spinach, olives, feta, tomatoes. Buddy really enjoyed the Whole Hog Skillet with meats and eggs on top. Coffee excellent. Top notch service-very attentive and friendly. The whole experience was fantastic. We are adding this place to our usual rotation for breakfast in North Dallas.

Great spot, absolutely no complaints. I had a unusual request and they made it for me exactly how I wanted!! The girls working were both welcoming, friendly, and attentive. We liked it so much, I came back the next day for a To-Go Order!! I'm really glad this spot is so close to home!!

First, service and decor of Starwood are really nice. Plenty comfortable banquet seating, as you would expect in a diner-style restaurant, very clean and service was attentive. Unfortunately the food I received when dining did not come close to the quality reflected in the current four star aggregate rating. I ordered Chicken fried steak with gravy, eggs, hash browns and pancakes and coffee. Nothing stood out as above the norm of roadside diner fare (best we're the pancakes). The hash browns were nicely shredded and seasoned, but not thoroughly crispy and served lukewarm. I came specifically for a good chicken fried steak and it was really disappointing: under seasoned, tough, too much connective tissue and slightly bitter flavor. I could only get through half of it. In all fairness, normally after altering the kitchen (which I did) I would have given them an opportunity to remake the dish. But unfortunately I didn't have time that morning and had to just take the loss...

Sat outside because we had beautiful weekend weather in the morning. Server was polite and prompt with food which tasted great. Mimosa had fresh squeezed juice which was pulpy. Good visit - parking was on the street and we had no issues.

Simply delicious food! We had the Streak Fajita ? with buttermilk pancakes that melt in your mouth, Reuben sandwich, French toast ?, and Chicken pesto panini. Staff is very hospitable and timely. We’d come back for sure!

Came to check this place out. The food was delicious, but what I enjoyed more was the latte. The server (Cinthia) was incredible by welcoming us with a beautiful smile and made us feel right at home. She was very attentive, checking on us regularly even when she was busy. Will absolutely be back again!

Food is good, not great, but I don't ever expect food from a café to be great to excellent. I had the Reuben sandwich and I felt the amount of meat was less than desirable. Service is always attentive and on point. Ambiance is fine. Nothing to write home about. Good breakfast or lunch spot overall.

Wonderful little neighborhood cafe, easy parking, bright clean interior, very friendly hostess greeted us at the door. We got a table and menus right away, then we waited…and waited. It would have been nice to wait with a cup of coffee (THEY HAVE THE BEST COFFEE!!), we didn’t even know who our waiter was. About the point we were going to ask the hostess if we had been forgotten, our waiter showed up and took our orders for coffee…then waiting and waiting again. Once we had ordered, the food came out quickly. I had the Starwood Benedict. It could have been warmer, but the egg was cooked perfectly. (Being really picky here) the hollandaise was bland, without the lemon zing that makes a hollandaise so yummy. Did I mention the coffee is Awesome!!? We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Other times we have had sandwiches and they’ve all been fabulous. The restaurant is lively and noisy, the portions are huge.
