We found this winery as part of the Harvest Host program - they allowed us to spend the night in our RV in exchange for our business. We liked it so much we went inside three times - once for flights and a generous charcuterie board, once for dinner, and again to purchase bottles to take home. We enjoyed meeting Dewayne and chatting briefly before he got pulled away to the production facility which is attached to the dining area.

First, the grounds are lovely. Even in the rain, the gravel drive and parking lot didn’t get muddy. Ponds, green grass, trees - it’s a nice place to just hang out. They seem to have chosen various tables and chairs and stained glass lamps and lights which make for an interesting esthetic. We felt comfortable and enjoyed the decor. Outdoor seating (covered and uncovered) was just as interesting but we had had enough humidity for one day!

The wines: this place is a sweet wine lover’s dream. I like the whole range of wines from very sweet to very dry, and all six wines I tried were good. For a sweet lover, I recommend the Blackberry Bam-a-lam and the warm caramel. I should have tried more non-sweets but switched to non-alcoholic for dinner and enjoyed the fun of a Shirley temple! All recommended!

The food: they have found a real gem with Chef Maria. We have no complaints. We ordered the chef’s scratch made special - cowboy butter chicken over mashed potatoes with green beans. Amazing. 15/10 would recommend. The special coconut cream cake was just as good. We couldn’t finish our food, having just had the aforementioned generous charcuterie earlier in the afternoon, and we were given reusable plastic to go containers.

In the evening we enjoyed live music before calling it a night. We enjoyed the weekend getaway and would recommend this place for an long afternoon or evening to chill and relax.

Free WiFi is available onsite as well as multiple clean restrooms and a swing set for the kids. Or adults, no rules when there’s wine!

What a fantastic Harvest Hosts stay!

From the moment we arrived, it was obvious that Dewayne and Amy take tremendous pride in what they have built. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely interested in making sure guests had a great experience.

We were greeted with some heavy overnight rain, which softened the parking area a bit, but thankfully the winery has a well-maintained gravel lot that made parking easy and worry-free.

The wines were outstanding, with several becoming instant favorites. We especially enjoyed the creative and clever names that add a little extra personality to the tasting experience.

We decided to stay for dinner, and we’re glad we did. Chef Maria shared some of her culinary magic with us, and every bite was delicious. The service staff was equally impressive—friendly, attentive, and happy to help with anything we needed.

As an added bonus, a guitarist played jazz and other beautiful melodies throughout the evening, creating a relaxing atmosphere that perfectly complemented the winery experience.

One of the things we loved most was the character of the indoor space. The décor is warm, inviting, and completely unique, featuring an eclectic collection of table and chair sets, beautiful dark wood accents, and warm lighting throughout. Everywhere you look there is something interesting to take in. We were especially fascinated by the large glass aging vessels displayed throughout portions of the dining room, which add both charm and a glimpse into the winemaking process.

The outdoor seating area and stage are beautifully designed and thoughtfully laid out. Even with the less-than-perfect weather, we could tell it would be an incredible place to spend an evening when conditions are ideal.

This was one of those Harvest Hosts stops that felt special from start to finish. Great people, great wine, great food, live music, and a beautiful venue. We would happily return and highly recommend a visit to anyone passing through the area.

Don’t forget to grab a few bottles of your favorites to take bake home with you!

We love this place! Always a great experience. Very chill environment and not that uppity feel at all. When it’s not too hot it’s perfect to sit outside and there’s things for the kids to be entertained. We will definitely keep going back.

So first, I have to say I have been going to Cedar Hollow for a couple of years and keep returning because I love the wine, and the outdoor space is so nice to listen to music and enjoy the outdoors. I have tasted several of the wines but just fell in love with the montepulciano and always buy a bottle and enjoy every drop. Last night I was so excited to go enjoy the Clay Potter band and some wine with friends. When I was handed the bottle of wine it was VERY warm. So I probably should have just refused it from the start but I was so craving it that I just figured it would be fine. It was NOT fine. The wine was terible. Tasted metallic and my friend said it seemed like it waa turning and almost had a vinegar taste. I took it back to the bar and the girl said oh it's and new batch and probably just needs to age. Ummmm, HUH? So maybe don't sell me a wine that is not ready to be sold. We asked the girl who brought our food and she said she could not do anything about it. The whole thing was very disappointing. Especially since I know how good the wine there can be. We will be tasting the wines before we buy any from now on, if we go back.

I went to Cedar Hollow Winery & Vineyard for my friend’s birthday a while back and had a great time. The place is beautiful with a really nice view and a relaxed atmosphere.

We talked with the owners while we were there, and they were super friendly and welcoming. It was cool hearing about their plans for the winery and how much they care about what they’re building.

I had a bottle of the Sauvignon Blanc, and my friends shared a bottle of Amarone—both were really good. The staff was amazing, very attentive, and made sure we were taken care of the whole time.

The chef’s specials were also a highlight. We tried the Cajun chicken and the French onion pot roast, and both were delicious. Overall, great wine, great food, and great people. I’d definitely recommend Cedar Hollow Winery & Vineyard and will be back for sure.

Great wine, food, presentation and ambience!

Great venue and ambience, and love the outdoor space. Food has been great the two times I’ve been. Wine was okay and the reds were a little sweet for my liking, but the facility made up for it.

Love this place!! The atmosphere is anywhere from cozy intimate, to family fun to event center! The music is always the best local bands, even up and coming artists. I was never really a wine drinker till I found this place and now this is my go to spot when I need to grab a great gift. The prices are reasonable. Chef Maria makes the best dishes & deserts around. Reservations or walk in there is always a spot for you. They have an event room, and can accommodate large groups. Sunday brunch with $5 mimosas hit the spot. Their event calendar on FB is always up to date so I'm able to plan something fun when I have out of town guests.

Really enjoyed Cedar Hollow. They had a great variety of wines and some reasonably priced entrees along with some very good appetizers.
