Charlie's Old Fashioned Kitchen

The place is super neat, the staff are amazing, but unfortunately the food is sub par. I was shocked no burgers on the lunch menu. I was craving a great burger for lunch and got the Charlie's classic. Bun was stale and hard, meat was extremely dry with no flavor. I asked for handcut fries, but it was the awful semi breaded fries from a freezer bag. I had hoping for better. This cost 14.04 with water.

The food was not all the way cooked I had a burger and it came out looking like it just got pulled off the cow still bleeding and the service was shit needed refill and never got them

Had the beef cutlet with gravy. Awesome okra was great. Those mashed potatoes were awful. The gravy couldn’t help those. Do you not have someone to check the quality on the food your sending to the customers?

Went here on a Friday night have never heard of this cute little place. The dinner rush had not yet began...Walked in got seated immediately. Waitress Hailey, (I believe) was at our table the moment we sat. We had 3, 1/2 n half teas w/lemons. Super fresh Tea, it was nice & strong the lemons were awesome, not dried out like most places. We ordered Fried Pickle appetizer, it was so good🤤 we could have made a meal out of that alone. Ummm...but NO, we had main meal of 2 CFS 1 CFC, 2 fried okra, 1 mashed potatoes, 1 sweet potatoe fries & my daughter wanted mac n cheese so we got that too! Let me say this, I never eat mac n cheese bc it taste like Elmers glue, so its not my fave side dish, but when it came to our table I took a bite & ohhhh man it was ahhmazing!
In fact, so good we ordered another one🤭.
We normally have left overs but tonight there wasn't anyone in my family that took home left overs bc we polished our plates! All. Of. It 😬
Seriously, that good yall!
We probly won't eat for 2 days but, if we do this just might be our next meal again! 🥰
I'm for sure getting that buttermilk coconut cream pie, and a pecan to have for later.
This place is not only a chill comfy casual setting, but the waitstaff is hopping & popping out piping hot home cooked goodness.

The waitress Jena was great. Food is good. Prices are ridiculous. $12.48 for a beer.

If you get a waiter named Alex, I'd suggest leaving. Ruined a dinner out with my family being passive aggressive and smart mouthed. I'll not be back

Visited for lunch and it got busy. Our waitress was super friendly and very patient explaining the menu and options. She remembered who ordered what (we had a group of 10 people). Everyone enjoyed their meal. A few wanted dessert but they didn't have what they wanted. The restroom was clean.

I Use to Love Charlie's but their prices for certain things have become outrageous smh
I use to get their Chicken Tenders with 2 sides for $9.99, Now it's $14.99?
And their Chef salad use to be a decent price but now it's over $15.. For a salad.
They have pretty good food but Not That good for the High prices.
It's really sad, we use to be regular customers 😔
