Honestly, best BBQ I've had in a while. Small town, family owned, and straight forward with you. I will say they run out relatively quick and there hours of operation are wild but if you have to lose sleep to try there bbq I recommend it.

Top-notch BBQ here and the hospitality is second to none. Brisket sandwich really hit the spot and the sides were all good too. If you’re coming from New Mexico, be sure to make it in before they close at 3, but add an hour for the time change heading into Texas. You don’t want to miss this place.Kid-friendliness: Very kid-friendly. Toddler loved it here.

Fantastic family operation. Rarely have I been to a BBQ place that had such universally good food. We were super lucky that they were sold out of brisket, pork shoulder, etc. It forced us to try some of the less popular BBQ (Turkey, ham and sausage). 100% of them were fantastic. Some of the best BBQ ive had in my life, Brisket, Ribs, and Burt-ends are amazing and the green chili sausage. Great sides too. Easily the best in the area and probably the best in my life. Get there early, as they sell out rather quick.
Awesome pulled pork and brisket. Glad we drove past clovis to eat at this gem. Simple order at the counter BBQ. Great sides. And Awesome meats.

This place is one, no the best BBQ around here! I drive over almost every single Friday (& no I’m not exaggerating). The place is very quaint with a doe home feel. They truly treat you like family here. We have never had a bad experience here and have yet to eat something I didn’t like. They have the best pickle spears I’ve ever tasted!! Their brisket is so good, we get a helping for our dog! Their customer service is above and beyond! And if you’re not completely full (their helping are pretty big) definitely try their desserts. You will not be disappointed!! This place could teach a class on how to run a restaurant!!

Phenomenal food. Great people with great service. Recommend stopping in if passing by!I’ve eaten at most of the top BBQ places in Texas and this was as good or better than many of them. Very moist (even the lean) but very flavorful and not over smoked. The green chili sausage was fantastic. Will be back for sure when passing through again.

Their wood fired ribeye steak is some of the best steak I’ve had in my life. Their desserts rotate (lemon lasagna, chocolate cake, carrot cake) and are always great. Their staff is exceptionally friendly. One of the few truly outstanding restaurants in the local area. Highly recommended
