The food was excellent. We had a very tender chicken fried steak, shrimp, shrimp and grits, and hamburgers. The service was also fantastic.

After a long day of antique shopping in Warrenton, all we wanted was a good meal. We were shocked to have such delicious steaks and sides in a small out of the way town. The steaks were cooked exactly as asked for. The green beans were so tasty. The service was also great. Our server was cery busy. Another server noticed, so she came and took our drink order for her teammate. Love when staff work as a team. I assume a manager was the one walking around checking on tables & I always appreciate the above and beyond attention to customers. Will definitely go back whenever we pass through!

Food is good but the day we were there, we asked for a couple minutes to look over the menu, it was almost 15 minutes before server came back. Then we ordered more tea and napkins and server had to clean the floor before bringing them. Upon leaving, a different person came to get our pyts, and she picked up my tea before I was done with it. Seemed in a rush for us to leave since it was almost 2pm when they close.

Great food and people. Staff is nice and helpful. Our 14 year old daughter asked to borrow money to tip extra. Try the onion rings, fish, chicken fried steak, fried shrimp, and the jalapeño bun for the burgers. Live band was great.

My wife and I both had steaks and they were delicious. Cooked perfectly and super tender. I also had an order of fried shrimp, definitely hand done and perfect. Would recommend.

Was our first time going, won’t be the last! Staff were so friendly. The new owner was even walking around making sure everyone was doing good. Chicken Fried Steak is definitely something to write home to mom about!! So tender. Didn’t need a knife to cut it. Husband said it was like eating candy!

I eat here all the time and it's always good. They have the best chicken fried steak (chicken fried New York strip). Also, the lickskillet dip is awesome. Small town eating with a full drink bar attached. ? will warn you that sodas are not name brand.

Where to begin.. the food was Great!!, the waitress was very knowledgeable of everything on the menu, I had the chicken fried steak, no knife needed you can cut it with a fork. The owners were very nice the came around and greeted us, very homie feel, definitely recommend this restaurant if you want a home cooked meal away from home. We will definitely be back!
