March 1st 4pm. My wife and her friend had eagerly anticipated this visit and brought the husbands—its proximity promised a sophisticated afternoon. What a delusion. Upon arrival, we were directed to an area where we found a table we had to clear ourselves, relegating us to the role of unpaid staff as we shifted detritus aside. Ten minutes passed before a waiter offered a perfunctory 'I’ll be right with you,' only to promptly attend to two groups who arrived after us. Seven more minutes of neglect followed, with the same waiter engaging newer arrivals while we sat, unacknowledged. After twenty minutes of this farce, we left, informing the staff of their utter failure to serve us—met with a vapid 'Have a good day' as if we’d merely stopped by to admire the decor. The insult atop this injury? Bottles priced at $60—a 40% markup over Fredericksburg’s finest, where competence isn’t optional. I’d toss a $100 gift card I won to this place into the void than squander another dime here. One star, reluctantly.
We ate here a couple days ago for a reservation around 1:30-2:00 pm, we sat at the big circle table right beside the kitchen which was a cool experience but we noticed that the usual chef wasn’t there, instead someone took his place at preparing the food to be ran, I didn’t think nothing of it because the little guy was doing an awesome job at preparing the food and nothing we had turned out bad, shortly after us eating we noticed one of the employees go into the kitchen mad and start yelling at the boy and the chefs as well, swearing at them with all sorts of problems, to have this happen in front of customers is completely unprofessional and should face disciplinary repercussions, he then yelled at the boy for something but the boy appeared to be confused, fast forward to a couple minutes later, the boy calls for someone named Dom, which I assume was the guy that was behind our table in the suit, assuming this is his manager, then the way “Dom” responded wasn’t completely professional either, he told me to quote “make sure to do what you’re doing” and proceeded to walk away as if this wasn’t a problem, I’m not too sure how restaurants normally work, but I’d assume that in any industry with upper management, there should always be a fight for a solution, the boy left and we didn’t see him again that day but I hope he’s doing alright because based on what we saw, he didn’t deserve what came to him, I hope some kind of fix can be made because that was a ridiculous experience, I firmly believe a manager should be the one to help their employees especially at times like this and I also firmly believe that in a restaurant, there should be no kind of act against team members such as the young man did to the chefs and the boy helping the chefs.

I've been a member for over a year and loved this place. I was especially excited when January 2025, they opened a spa and provided special deals for wine club members. I'd love to give this place 5 stars but my spa experience has drastically decreased my opinion of this place.
Food and drinks: The food and drinks are great and I love how they constantly change the wine/food menu so you're never bored, especially as a wine member!
Noteworthy details: I had an appointment booked and paid for a week prior for the wine club member special for a massage and she didn’t even show up. No call, no message, NOTHING. I arrived 10 minutes early, excited for a relaxing experience, and after waiting for over 30 minutes past my scheduled time, I realized that she wasn’t coming.
I asked the front desk if they could get in touch with her, and they just said she was with a third party company and kept calling the same number I had (that went immediately to voicemail), which was completely unhelpful. I could’ve been doing literally anything else during that time instead of wasting it at a spa that doesn’t even bother to show up for their clients.
At this point, I’m just annoyed and completely disappointed. Unprofessional doesn’t even begin to cover it. It took over two hours to get my refund. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere regarding spa treatments. There’s no way I’ll ever be coming back.
Worst spa experience, hands down.
I will never come here again...if you actually know wine I wouldn't go here.... I asked "bartenders" who do not know wine ... for adive on a 180$ bottle of wine... she asked me for advice....She had no clue and and if that wa not enough she went to bathroom with other bartender....

My husband and I visited on a late Saturday afternoon to try a new vineyard and eat a light bite. We stood in line for 10 minutes at the bar hoping we were in the right place as there appeared to also be a wedding happening on the property. We were finally acknowledged, but given conflicting information on where to order - one staff member told us to order at the bar, another told my husband to stay seated outside and a server would help us. A few different servers(?) outside said they would help us in a moment. There weren't even any glasses at the water station. After 20+ minutes of no service, we left. Perhaps they were short-staffed or unorganized due to the event and this was not the right time to visit.
Didn't stay overnight this time around. However, the overall experience here is amazing! We are definitely repeat customers.

This review is for the Vineyard at Florence’s boutique spa. First, I want to say that the massage I received was great! However, I would not consider the setting as a “spa” or even a “boutique spa.” First, there is no reception area. Upon arrival you park your car and go straight to a massage room. The massage room does not have a built in speaker system, so music was played on the massage therapist’s phone. This “spa” experience doesn’t provide the ability to catch up or unwind by yourself and definitely not with a friend or partner. For example, there is no spa area to sit, relax, have water etc.. I was disappointed about that aspect of the experience.

My friends and I recently dined at The Vineyard at Florence on a Friday night, and it was an exceptional experience. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the wine and cocktail menu. The "Meet Me in Florence" cocktail was a delightful start to the evening and my wife loved the flowers on the rim, and the "Bee Sting" cocktail was a unique and refreshing choice. The Italian and French wine selections were impressive. They offer a diverse range of high-end options and their Texas wines are really good. The food really complimented the drinks making everything we had delicious.
A standout moment was when the sommelier visited our table and recommended the perfect after-dinner drink. It was the ideal ending to a memorable evening. The Vineyard at Florence truly excels in providing a sophisticated and enjoyable dining experience.
Rooms: The rooms are beautiful and Luxurious.
Nearby activities: There so much to do. You wont be bored.
Safety: If was safe and a great atmosphere
Food and drinks: The food and drinks are delicious!
Noteworthy details: Its beautiful, great staff and atmosphere. Beautiful views and a place I would recommend to friends and family.

I live close enough to stop in time to time for part of the day. No reservations needed for the patio (limited menu). To dine in the restaurant, reservations are needed. I've not stayed at the lodging.
The Vineyard often has live entertainment. My favorite is Roger Mark. There's generally fun guest events going on monthly. The food is delicious. Their staff is friendly, capable of answering questions about the menu, & helpful. Beautiful grounds. Many relaxing or enjoyable activities to choose from. When I go, I plan for 4 hrs or more. So many stars can be seen at night, too. ?? It's a wonderful spot for any day or occasion!
Walkability: My bestie & I really enjoyed stretching our legs while playing lawn chess. ♟️?

Visited here on a Friday evening for some wine tastings and dinner..we were easily accommodated upon arrival - had a couple of pours while waiting for the rest of our party to arrive in the member’s wine room..we were seated for dinner and our waitress Emily was absolutely amazing! Will request her as our waitress on next visit. Would say the waitress were not the meat -the meat raguton dish supposedly had several meats but the dish came with very little meats, the appetizers were absolutely delicious - would recommend the meatballs and Spinach & artichoke dish..the cocktails and wines listing were extensive and very fulfilling. I have to say not the best recommendation for dinner but would recommend for wines, drinks and delicious appetizers only!

Great location. Went on a Saturday evening and they had live music by the outdoor patio/ sitting area. Hidden gem and would recommend for all the wine enthusiasts. Love what they have done in the outdoor space.
Noteworthy details: Love the live music wine and the people.!

My husband and I went out there today with our 3 month old son. Absolutely gorgeous location and we were really excited to enjoy the nice outdoor area for our 5 year anniversary. Nobody was greeting us. We sat outside for a while without anybody coming to our table. We then eventually decided to move inside since it started to thunder anyways. Asked if we can just sit anywhere. Sat down on a couch and waited again at a table. There were still leftovers from the guests beforehand. Waited again for a while until my husband decided to ask if it’s self service or how it works since it was our first time at this winery. The lady was super unfriendly and said yeah we can order here. The male waiter was so kind and said oh no I’ll come over and also bring you guys some water. He seemed irritated that the waitress named Emily didn‘t seem like she wanted to serve us. Eventually she came to take our order and asked in the most annoyed way as if we’d be an inconvenience to her. After ordering my husband and I both looked at each other and decided to actually cancel the order and leave. We both felt like the waitress was very judgy about us being dressed casually. As if we wouldn’t be able to afford coming here. The vibe was absolutely awful. We are wine club members at a couple other vineyards in the area and other States and have never experienced such an arrogant treatment. As beautiful as the location is, we most likely won’t return.
