I would never go there again. The food is about as bad as it can get. The service I would rate as a two. When it's time to pay, they don't bring you your tickets, so you can check it out.You have to go to the register and they have tickets.Laying all over the counter you have to try to figure out which one's yours. the tip is already figured in at 20% and then on top of that they charge you a service charge? What that's for I have no idea. No one ever came by to refill our drinks. I would have left a minimum 10% tip with a note.Saying service is about as bad as the food

Unfortunately, the service was not attentive. Even with only a couple of other tables occupied, we waited quite a while for water, chips, and our food. Staff were eating and talking behind the counter instead of checking on guests. The food was okay, but the overall experience left a lot to be desired

Just left today 8/3 first time here and last. Looks can definitely be deceiving, looks great on the outside but inside was not up to par. Personally should be closer for a renovation or at least a good clean! Cob webs on the chandeliers and in every corner, burnt or mildewed vents, cheap chairs and tables. We had a party of 6 only got 2 small chip bowls and had to ask for more chips and napkins all the whole almost all the front end wait staff was snacking away behind the counters oblivious of their customers needs. Now let’s get down to the food, honestly I could have just stayed home and cooked. My flautas come out way better and trust me I am no chef. They were busted and burnt in some areas, rice barely orange and bland, beans the same. Chile con queso disgusting tbh I don’t think it was even velveeta at that. Overall spent about $100 tip is included when you go to pay so be cautious bc the screen will as ask to tip!!!
Guacamole looked like something Shrek sneezed out — suspiciously green and oddly smooth. Prices are higher than your average local Mexican joint, which is bold considering most of the food seems to have been summoned from a freezer, a can, or a time capsule from 2003.
I think the tortillas were fresh, but I could be wrong — they may have just been warmed in a very convincing microwave.
Also, only bottled beer. So if you were hoping for a cold draft to wash down your canned enchiladas, prepare to bond with a Corona like it’s your only friend at the party.

First and last visit.
I came to this restaurant for the first time and was very disappointed. The food tasted very ordinary — like it came straight out of a can. The building looks old and wasn’t very clean, which didn’t make the experience any better. On top of that, they charged me 3.99% just for using my credit card. Definitely not worth it. I won’t be coming back.

Not worth the money., We had 1 bean & egg , 1 bean & cheese.
1 potato & egg and
1 sausage & egg taco. 1 big red 12oz can & 1 coffee $19.00
Amazing chow!! Kinda quiet... except for one spoiled kid, screaming! Puffy tacos were small, but good.

Great Mexican food. Highly recommend!
What you order is not what you get. Order bacon & egg mixed & get an egg taco with a strip of bacon. Tortillas a lot of times barely warm.
Waitress was nice but, the food was cold & was not what I ordered. They didn’t toast my tortilla & brought me an egg taco with a strip of bacon. I ordered a bacon & egg mixed. Also, the bathroom didn’t have any paper towels which was brought to their attention. All the above have happened on more than one occasion hence why we won’t be returning for a good while in hopes maybe things will change.

I’ve been going to Angelica’s for the past 5–6 years, regularly purchasing between 16 to 32 plates at a time to feed my oil & gas customers in South Texas. The lady who usually helps me is always kind and helpful, and I’ve always appreciated the service—until today.
I called in my usual order an hour ahead, requesting mixed beef and chicken fajitas with extra sausage—something my customers really enjoy. It is Good Friday, and I wanted to give them a special meal. But when I arrived in Floresville, I received a call saying the owner refused to fill my order because it was “too much.”
If she didn’t want to accept the order, she could have let me know at the time I placed it—not after I had driven all that way. I had to scramble to find another local Mexican restaurant willing to help so my customers could eat on time.
This was deeply disappointing, especially on a meaningful day like Good Friday. I’ve been a loyal customer for years, but after the way I was treated today, I won’t be returning. I rarely write reviews, but this experience really hurt, and I felt it needed to be shared.
