Amazingly delicious BBQ. I came back the next day. Friendly staff as well.
The food was delicious, savory and the meat was tender. It was so good that we ordered an additional plate to take with us.Very hospitable, friendly and clean. We highly recommend the food and restaurant.

The best BBQ chicken
With all the Texas BBQ spots around Texas this is our favorite. We have driven the 45 minutes to eat here several times since we discovered this place. Worth the trip! We've even brought friends on the drive. I love the Brisket and the ribs. Sides are amazing as well. I love the corn spoonbread and the charro beans. My wife loves the creamed corn. The seating area is small so be aware if you go at a really busy time. They smoke their meat low and slow so when they sell out, they're out. Which happens sometimes and actually is a sign they are doingsomething right.
After the Texas Monthly issue rating BBQ restaurants came out a few years ago, I have visited most locations which TM rated - in a four county radius of San Antonio. 2 Sawers is the best so far because the meat items were both fully cooked yet tender and moist. The rib meat fell off the bone. The brisket could be pulled apart with a fork, no knife. The BBQ sauce was perfect - neither too tart nor too sweet. Everything was delicious and satisfying. Oh! And they have Big Red. Nothing more needs to be said. Check it out.
First time visitors get ready, this joint gives a wonderful sample tray of all their bbq and side goodies. Amazing flavors, true Texas options, and the best cornbread! You probably won't have room for dessert, but you can get it to go. Delicious!
Tried this restaurant based on other Tripadvisor reviews while we were driving in the area, and I have to concur that this is one of the best BBQ places I've ever eaten at. It's a little hard to find unless you're familiar with it - we drove right by the first time as we only saw the Donuts sign that belongs to the other half of the building they share. Staff were very welcoming, and service was very good throughout our visit. As 1st timers, we were given a sampler tray so that we could try everything and choose what we wanted to order from the small menu of goodies. The ribs were very good, but the brisket was definitely the star of the show. They slice it thicker than most places, but the meat is so moist that even thick cuts are tender and easy to eat. The sausage is excellent as well - not spicey (which in my book is good), nice bite, great flavor. My mother-in-law (not a BBQ fan) tried the fried catfish, and really liked that as well. Portions were generous for everything ordered, As for the sides, a couple were much too sweet for my taste (especially Boston beans and coleslaw); but charro beans and corn bread/pudding were very good. This restaurant is too far from where I live to become a regular stop, but for sure whenever I'm in Floresville, I'll be eating at Two Sawers.

I am picky about BBQ, but I can't find anything that they serve that I don't like. My favorite is the brisket, but all of the meat is good. The service is excellent and the people are all friendly and helpful. I have to limit myself or I would go broke eating there!! Rudy's used to be my favorite, but Sawyers is better. Love this place!
Ok. I am very picky about my BBQ. So for me to love this place means something. First, the people there are super friendly and helpful. Our first time there, and they started us with a small sampler plate. Everything was amazing! Brisket was juicy and tender. Soo good. I am not a fan of sauces, but I tried theirs. Ok. I AM a fan of this sauce! Ribs were good. Tender and flavorful. Sausage with most bbq joints is hit or miss. Not here! Pretty darn good sausage. And with the sauce, it's real tasty. The sides were good too. That cornbread was very original. I loved it. The wife loved the charro beans. Desserts. What can I say. The key lime cheesecake is a perfect end to the meal. But my hands down favorite was the ugly pecan pie! We got the last slice! I am glad we got to try it! I highly recommend this place. My new favorite local bbq joint!
