We love Golden Chick! ALL of the chicken is DELICIOUS: tenders, fried chicken, and the roasted too. The chicken is so good you have to exert self-control not to overeat! We frequently dine at GC in Pleasanton, San Antonio, and Floresville.
The Floresville Golden Chick is our favorite by far. Every dish is always served to perfection; I have never had a substandard offering at this Golden Chick. Unlike other locations, the rolls are never over-baked and all of the sides are prepared with excellence! In addition, the staff is extremely friendly. The manager ensures that his customers are 100% satisfied.
We also love the fenced half-shade patio out front! Our veterinarian is in Floresville and whenever we need to take our dogs to the vet, we stop at Golden Chick for lunch on the patio with our pups happily watching us eat. Golden Chick is the only place in Floresville where we can dine with our dogs, and the manager has told us our pups are always welcome!

Well, my husband (Frank) and I went to Golden Chick to have a relaxing early dinner. The food is excellent. I had chicken tenders(half spicy half original) and both are very good. But I want to say "I prefer the spicy" it's very good. My husband had the chicken sandwich. He gave me a taste and "? Wow" it's very tender and their mayo or special dressing is very very good! I think I'm having the chicken sandwich on our next go around. The ambience is of all ages and yet still well blended with a friendly gathering. I believe it has to do very much with the restaurant manager. He is the most heart warming manager. He always greets with a ? Smile. He always walks the restaurant floor asking his customers if everything was to their satisfactory. And if not he will make it better. Last, but not least!..... Free soft serve vanilla ice cream ? when dining in!!! I just wished they would have their shrimp on their menu all year around....... Lol it's really good. It's only on the menu during Lent. The food was fresh and so good! But the staff went above and beyond…my three girls were sad the egg machine was jammed and the staff came out with the mascot to hand out treats! Such nice people!! Passing through but will stop here again!

I love coming here but not today. Rolls on plates were smashed. I said something about it they just stared at me. Soda fountain area was dirty. Food crumbs everywhere. The counter at the register was dirty. My roasted chicken was not completely done. I thought everything was cooked on a timer, but not today. I did not eat it.
