We ordered the Maverick sampler for an app that had fried zucchini, pickles and mushrooms. It was what you'd expect for a fried platter. Then we split the Maverick chicken fried steak. It was huge! Definitely had leftovers. We also ordered some prickly pear margaritas, which were very good.
My sister & her husband were impressed with the steak they shared. Done perfectly.
The marinated chicken breast I had was slightly dry. I know chicken can easily dry out if it’s cooked too hot too quickly. Suggestion to management & cook is what I do when grilling chicken, coat the chicken with olive oil or vegetable oil before its cooked or put the marinate on chicken as it cooks to seal in juice.
Should also put some of the marinate juice on plate...

Great food and super friendly waitress. I had the cheeseburger and hubby had the chicken fried steak sandwich. Both came out exactly as we ordered. Really clean and fun place to eat at.
