Cute place! Thankfully there were veggie options. The only thing was the hash browns were not crispy enough, they were more liked a shredded baked potato. Service was great! Emily was really sweet and friendly. Lavender iced tea was fantastic!

I will start this with saying we are definitely classic diner breakfast people. Dix is not that. The restaurant is very aesthetically pleasing, pretty, clean and preset for inviting guests to any open table. The gym next door had their music pumping so loud you could feel the base at our booth on the other side of the restaurant, not Dix’s fault they just have bad neighbors. On a Saturday morning at 9:30a I would expect to see more than 6 full tables. But yea for us no wait! We were greeted immediately and service was pretty average. My husband struggled with finding pancakes, eggs and a breakfast meat all together. If you like overly sweet or gravy coated breakfast this is a great spot for you! You will have lots of options. He ended up ordering the simple stack and adding 2 eggs for an extra $4 and sharing my breakfast meat I got with my Country breakfast. He was very disappointed in the pancakes, they were dry and the syrup was like Carmel sauce. I had the country breakfast with scrambled eggs, hash browns, turkey sausage and biscuits with gravy. My eggs were light and fluffy, the gravy was super flavorful but the biscuits were flat and hard. We were both bummed in the no pork options, for breakfast meats. The hash browns were mushy and had no seasoning on them. My drip coffee was ok. I was asked if I would like a coffee to go, that was nice. Over all we spent just over $40 with tip and it was ok but I just don’t think we are the clientele Dix is catering to.

Wow, what a great place! Really nice inside, nicer people and great food! Had the veggie omelet w/a side of bacon, both of which was perfection. I don’t live in the area, but would love to come back the next time I am.

My first time here. Lovely decor! I had the bacon cheeseburger. Brioche bun, looked like the burger was not pre-made. Fresh tasting. The service was thoughtful and a delight. Loved the fries presentation. Warm to the last bite. An ice tea to go . Heavenly! I highly recommend.

This was a really nice breakfast experience. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and sat at a nice clean table. The decor was well appointed with white and black. The bar area was neat and a good fit into the overall theme. Our server was friendly, attentive and understood the menu. Our food came out quickly and was fresh and tasty. We will definitely visit again.

I visited this establishment on Monday morning at 10 AM with my son, eager to enjoy a post-workout breakfast. The food was undeniably delicious, and the ambiance was aesthetically pleasing. However, the experience was marred by the waitress's sour attitude and apparent unhappiness, which unfortunately detracted from our overall enjoyment. Despite this, I would consider returning in the future, hoping for a more pleasant interaction with a different waitress.

This is a great little cafe. The food was terrific. I had the avocado toast with egg whites. They were the best I’ve had. They had seasoning that really elevated the taste. The fries are great. We also got the Nutella fruit pancakes. Those were delicious as well. Our server was helpful and took great care of us. We were there at an off-peak time, and they still were on top of everything. The decor is cute. The bathrooms have those extra touches in decor and soap and such. It definitely conveys a great message.

Great little cafe for brunch. We had coffee and mimosa and they were both excellent. The cali toast was hearty and delicious. My mom got the strawberry banana nutella French toast and she ate it all. The atmosphere is very friendly. There is plenty of room between the tables. There are two doors but only one is the main entrance. They are not labeled well so you may enter in the wrong door and have to walk around to get to the host stand like we did. The restroom was clean and well stocked. Parking was simple and we went on a Sunday at about 930am. We enjoyed our breakfast and We will be back.

I am very dissatisfied with Dix Cafe. I purchased a Nutella strawberry banana waffle that tasted like it was left on the counter for hours and it left me with a food poisoning from Friday and I still have it and it’s the next Thursday. This put me in the doctor’s office and I will not be back. Do not try this or you may have the same outcome.

My wife and I with our oldest daughter dropped in for lunch to this breakfast and lunch place. It's a wide open space concept with booths on one wall, a wall length bar on the other and a tables in between. Has what appears to be a larger family table flanked by sofas on either side. Place was busy and for me anyway, fairly loud. One person's loud voice can echo in there for days. Place is open for breakfast and lunch so keep that in mind. The place seems to be run by younger folks who are quite nice, but seem to make the ambiance feel more like a youngsters hangout than a local sit down place. At one point they were very loud congregated by the register in the corner of the bar. Good to see young folks enjoying their time at work but there should still be some decorum.... The menu appears to have a fairly traditional breakfast slant highlighted by some signature hash brown bowls. Other side of the menu is their brunch (salads, hamburgers, avocado toasts, kids menu) and it looks to cover a lot of bases as well. The Reubens caught my eye, my teenager ordered the country-fried steak breakfast, and my wife chose the cheeseburger. Country fried steak was ok, it's not fresh-made from scratch and looks to be a processed job. The sunny side up eggs came back very liquid around the yolks (not gonna be too tough there as those are tough to get right) and the hasbrowns were under-seasoned making them very bland. The solution on those were either ketchup or Tabasco sauce for us....LOL...It made for a fair meal but that's about it; sour dough bread one of the choices for sides was pretty good. Runs $15.00 and I'd have to say a dollar or two higher than the value I'd put on it. Cheeseburger I thought was fine. My wife thought it to be dry. A shining moment for my wife were the fries as she said that's about the best thing on the plate. Twelve dollars and I felt it was OK value... but my wife might argue...lol....she did have a point that the bun was way too big for the burger which never makes a good impression. I had high hopes for the Reuben as it mentions the corn-beef made in house. Runs $15 but I'm afraid they could do a better job in how they serve it. I don't know the value of such great corned beef if it is drowned in cheese and butter; so much so that it dominates the sandwich, trumping even the thousand island and sauerkraut, which should be noticeable sidekicks. It seems like a grilled cheese with a side of corn-beef instead. The bread so soaked by butter that it makes your hands greasy....I think it's an easy fix but surprised they let it get through the pass that way. The service from ordering to receiving the three plates was about 26 mins so seems to be a bit longer than it needs to be for hamburger, eggs, reheated country fried steak, etc. A couple of missteps by our waitress forgivable but also helps in the lower rating for me. Total bill after taxes $45 and we left another $8 for the assist. Overall very nice folks and I hope they can make the little adjustments that would be needed to raise the level of food we had there.
