We had a fantastic breakfast at First Watch. We came in around 10am on a Sunday and received excellent service. We were seated immediately.
We were met by our server Gaby who took great care of us and the manager Tommy helped ensure everything was perfect as could be. Our food was on our table in less than ten minutes of us arriving. This place was packed and busy too!
The food itself? Amazing! Will definitely be back many times over.

Look I'm be honest with you this place says never been the same ever since they changed over to first watch okay The place was taking over by individuals who wanted to take and try to get people to eat healthy all right And my thing is this at the end of the day is your choice as an individual to choose to eat what you want to eat If you want to eat or start eating healthier that's great there's nothing wrong with that but also it's your choice as a person to eat whatever you want to eat but long as you eat and have common sense when you eat it and eating moderation it should be okay Yes there are individuals out there who are really greedy and who eat and who are complete gluttons when it comes to eating and they eat like they ain't got no damn stopping sense their pigs all right straight greedy there's no doubt about that..
But overall like I said when it's all said and done the decision is yours and yours along to make so if you want to eat and get your money's worth let me tell you this place ain't it honestly speaking this place is like going to a place where you have whether they let's just say it's like going to a hotel and they have breakfast in the morning and you sitting and they got a nice size big lobby okay That's what this place is like it's like even though they make the food for you but the portion of food did they give you is not worth the amount of money that they charge you for the food items itself You don't get your money's worth and I'm just be honest with you The food items are totally overpriced for what they charge you let's just say the food amount that they give you don't match the price that they charge you because for what they charge you you can go home and make the same thing that they just made you in the kitchen back there and do a better job and you will get more because for one you've made it the way you wanted to be made and even though you tell him how you want your food made they go back there and try to make the food the way you ask for to be made but the majority of the time they make it the way they want to make it and plus not to mention they also portion out the food and for me if I'm sitting up there paying you a certain amount of money for these food items that you charge me for I want my money's worth and this place definitely don't give you your money's worth this is not one of those places you better off going down the street near the Walmart supercenter there in highland village and going to snooty pig even though snooty pigs place is not that big the one right there on 2499 and 407 Justin Road all right At least the food portion is a little bit more than it is here they have some nice decent staff individuals there that work there servers okay But the food items are very overpriced like I said you can do a better job of fixing your own food at home for what they charge you for the food that they serve here they would have been better off leaving this place the way it was when it was the egg and I they get way more customers when this place was the egg and I before they changed it over to this other company and all these other places that used to be agonized that first watch took over The only location that is called the egg and I which now is called the Great American egg is in only certain places you have one in Addison over there off of beltline Road and the Dallas Park tollway and you got one in dense in Texas all right those are the only two original egg and I which is now called the Great American egg their food porches are better and the atmosphere is better and plus you get way more customers they're coming there because the food is better but these first watch locations I'm sorry it's not worth it it's not worth the money that they charge you You can do a better job of cooking your own food at home and that's just being totally 1,000% bluntly honest with anybody that's thinking about going to these rest

Food and service are great. The only issue is they don't swipe your card there. You have to scan a QR code to be able to pay. It's a little confusing as my friend and I were splitting the check. Her payment with through then I put in my card and there seemed to be a glitch, then the payment went through. We went to leave and reached the parking lot before the waiter came out and stopped us because the bill was only partially paid. He was very apologetic and said this method of paying was causing trouble for alot of people. I got my phone and tried to log in again and the site wouldn't pull up so I had to go in and he was able to ring me up at the podium. What a pain! Again, service and food were wonderful and the waiter tried to make paying as easy as he could. He even told me that people were just leaving without paying and there was nothing they could do about it. Whatever system they are using is definitely hard on the customers and the restaurant!

It was great to be sat down so quickly, but I hated the fact there was sticky syrup all over our table and every other table we checked that was cleared off was the same way. Since no one was available, I had to get up and grab the spray and rag on the server stand and clean my own table off to not get syrup from a past dining guest on my sleeve again. Pretty gross. Despite that, our server was very kind. My coffee was great I got the toffee one. The food was okay, my mom asked for chicken in hers and it wasn’t even cubed it was like smashed in chicken flakes. She also asked for tomatoes and there were only about 4 in counting in her scramble, so we had to ask for more. Every cup we tried to take from other tables were dirty on the inside and the reason why we were trying was because our cups to begin with had lipstick stains on them. Not the best First Watch I’ve been to.
