I ordered the ground beef chimichanga and really enjoyed it—especially the rice and beans that came with it. The trio of salsas and fresh corn tortillas were a nice touch and added to the authentic feel. On the downside, service was a bit slow as it seemed only one waiter was covering the entire restaurant, but he was very friendly and accommodating, which helped make up for the wait.
This place was so good! We only just found this place, as we learned that Don Luis was now operating here (we loved his place on Frankford). We will most definitely be back. I had the Mamma's Dinner and it was delicious. Husband had the brisket tacos and said the same. Also, the menu has a lot of really good options, so we are looking forward to trying out some of the other items.
Unfortunately, the food was void of any flavor and way overpriced. Not sure how it's possible to screw up TexMex this bad. At least the chips and salsa were decent. Will not be dinning here again.
