I've never been to this bakery as I live in Boston but love what these ladies stand for. By the photos of their product,it's a good thing I live 1000 miles away or I would be there every day!

My husband and adult son are vegan and gluten free. We visited Hive because we heard they offer goodies that meet their dietary choice so we chose the brownies. I don’t typically eat GF or vegan because I can eat whatever. My mindset was that I was not expecting anything life-changing—just a simple brownie to satisfy a chocolate craving. What I got instead was easily the most delicious thing I’ve ever eaten. From the first glance, it was perfect. The top had that delicate, crackly crust that shimmered slightly under the light, promising a rich interior beneath. When I picked it up, it had just the right weight—dense! The edges were slightly firm, hinting at a gentle crispness, while the center looked impossibly fudgy. The first bite was pure magic. The crust gave way with the softest resistance, revealing a warm, velvety middle that practically melted on my tongue. It wasn’t just sweet—it was deeply, luxuriously chocolatey, like the purest cocoa had been folded into butter and sugar with absolute care. Every bite was rich without being overwhelming, indulgent without feeling heavy. I actually had to pause after the first bite. You know something is special when it makes you close your eyes just to focus on it. It was the kind of brownie that makes you rethink every brownie you’ve had before was just inferior chocolate dust. By the last bite, I was already planning my next visit. This wasn’t just dessert—it was an experience. If happiness had a flavor, I’m convinced it would taste exactly like that brownie! Keep in mind - it was vegan & gluten free! I don’t know what sorcery is happening at Hive but I’m here for it! What is even more important outside of the brownie experience is that the owner, Haley stands for up for humanity, fairness, decency, and equality. And that’s always the right side of history.
Politics aside, this bakery makes the most delicious things. Their churro cheesecake almost made me cry it was so good. If you are looking for fantastic food, go here. Now, politically, I love that HIVE stands for what they believe in. The Right fought tooth and nail for Masterpiece Cakeshop to NOT have to make a wedding cake for a gay couple. That's OK? But when a bakery stands up for what they believe in and that disagrees with you, then they're wrong? Hypocrites. Every Single One of you!!

Absolutely awful. The cake was dry, bland, and looked nothing like what was promised. For the price, this was a complete rip-off. Customer service was useless and took zero responsibility. Ruined an important event. Never ordering from here again.

I am unsure how to explain how perfect every single thing I got from here is! The brownies the cookies the oatmeal cream cookies! Soft fresh and delicious! And then pizza roll didn’t last 10 min in the house!!

I’m a long distance customer, who ordered a hoodie. My bank was being weird and charged me twice. I contacted Hive customer support, and over the span of a few days they kept in touch with me to troubleshoot, and to make sure every thing was resolved one way or another. Eventually my bank account worked itself out (only charged once, eventually), and I didn’t have to stop payment, and miss out on the hoodie I ordered! I credit Hive’s attentive, communicative, and pleasant customer service for such an outcome! Otherwise I may have panicked and just cancelled the order or stopped payment with my bank, and been hoodie-less! Which would’ve been a travesty! So, thanks Hive! Chinga la migra! 😉
