My husband and adult son are vegan and gluten free. We visited Hive because we heard they offer goodies that meet their dietary choice so we chose the brownies. I don’t typically eat GF or vegan because I can eat whatever. My mindset was that I was not expecting anything life-changing—just a simple brownie to satisfy a chocolate craving. Politics aside, this bakery makes the most delicious things. Their churro cheesecake almost made me cry it was so good. If you are looking for fantastic food, go here.
Now, politically, I love that HIVE stands for what they believe in. The Right fought tooth and nail for Masterpiece Cakeshop to NOT have to make a wedding cake for a gay couple. That's OK? But when a bakery stands up for what they believe in and that disagrees with you, then they're wrong?
