Morning Edition used to be the place I always asked my family to go to brunch to. Unfortunately, the new owners will nickel and dime customers every chance they get. Everything costs a ridiculous amount. It’s a shame to see a nostalgic restaurant head in this direction.

Been going there regularly for breakfast and lunch since moving to Flower Mound last year. We love the level of consistent high quality in all aspects of dining at ME, including the value you get for your dollar. We were a bit concerned when the new owners took over last year, but rest assured they have maintained and possibly upped the ante! We simply love the place and look forward to our next meal there. Keep it up!??

I adored our waitress! She was very patient and answered all of our questions. I highly recommend the avocado toast! I enjoyed their in-house hot sauce too. It was not spicy but had a great smoky flavor. I will definitely be back again!Parking: There is plenty of parking in the back of the building.

My girlfriend and I have been here three times and it has been excellent every time. Service is quick, food comes out fast, and tastes amazing. They even have gluten free pancakes which are larger than the normal pancakes. Very reasonably priced as well. Never change.

Enjoyed visiting with company from out of state on Sunday morning. It was quieter than anticipated with no wait. Our waitress took amazing care of us, very attentive without being intrusive. I had the avocado toast, I was surprised how much I enjoyed this version! Will order again.

SPECTACULAR breakfasts! Try Corned Beef Hash - it’s not the mushy stuff you’re expecting! At Morning Edition it’s chunks of in-house, slow-cooked corned beef, and more! You may never go back to the canned stuff.

We went with 9 people who have never been here before and it did not disappoint! The food was great, with nice size portions, staff and service was great, nice atmosphere and the prices are reasonable. We will be going back many times!Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free options.

We have been coming to M.E. for many years, but are now looking for a new breakfast restaurant. The new owner is nice enough, but he nickles and dimes you (actually $1 or more!) for every little thing which most places wouldn't charge you at all for. For example, a second slice of toast with my eggs is $4?!? They charge for jelly, ranch dressing.. and it leaves a really bad taste in my mouth. Pretty soon, I expect to be charged for salt, pepper, and ice. Also, the atmosphere has gotten strange. It had a clean, minimalist farmhouse atmosphere before, but now there are tacky silk flowers hanging from the ceiling, and astroturf on the wall with "hello gorgeous" in neon on the wall. The music piping through used to be so uplifting.. now it's offensive. I feel like I'm eating in a teenager's bedroom. The staff is friendly and the food is good, so it pains me to have to go somewhere else now after church. I believe it is the above reasons why business has dropped so dramatically. We used to have to wait 15 minutes to get in..Now you can walk in and sit down with no wait. That is a stark indication that the most recent business decisions are rubbing a lot of people the wrong way.Dietary restrictions: They can honor your dietary restrictions but you'll have to pay out the nose --about double-- for it. :(
