Ramen Mura Ramen & Sushi

This might be the worst Japanese restaurant I have encountered. Japanese chef has proud in his making of the food, but this place doesn't. I walked alone in mid-day on election day and there are 4 other tables. I was greeted by the so-called owner and he sat me down in the middle of the restaurant. I haven't had ramen for a long time, so I asked him which was his best ramen dish on his menu. He suggested Tonkotsu. Food came rather quickly, and I was already disappointed on the amount of meat in the bowl. One tiny piece of pork, the smallest fake fish cake you can find, a half-boiled egg (which is an old egg, because when I bite into it, the center is still cold. They made the egg ahead of time and refrigerated, the yolk is already dark brown, look nothing like on their menu. As I finished the noodle, I looked back some of their reviews and pics on google and it clearly have better quality and quantity. BTW, the entire time, no one asked me if my food was ok or refill my water. Next time I know is the bill on the table. Very bad service, I let the waiter on concerns, and he said it is the way they cooked that dish now. I showed him the different on google pics. He just nodded and apologized
I called back to the restaurant and talked to the owner about my experience in his place. I told him I asked you what your best dish is and you still bring me cold boiled egg in a hot dish. I wanted partial refund because I felt like I was cheated. He said you ate you paid and hung up.
I don't do review often when I eat out but when I do, I want to raise awareness. Most of all can cook ramen at home and it would come out better and what this restaurant served. It was a $14.00 bowl of nothing really. If you don't believe me, order one for yourself.
It's too bad there aren't any ramen in Flower Mound area but this place. With no competition, they can continue to serve craps. They have/will not earn my second visit. I just have to drive a bit farther to Lewisville Mail area for it.

Great ramen place. I enjoy the food. The service has always been very good in the past, but with female servers, it hasn't been as good, unfortunately. They don't notice the table is dirty before seating people, it's very hard to communicate with them, if you ask for something, they forget, they checked on us once but checked the table next to us like three times. I saw a lot of alone customers were seated at big tables, but my boyfriend and I were seated at a small table during non-busy hours. They're not rude, just not good at customer service.

Tonkatsu was delicious. The Tempura Ramen roll was not only pleasant but larger than usual restaurants. Lastly, service was great. Highly recommend.

This place is a must-visit! The ramen is amazing—rich broth and perfect noodles. Don’t skip the chirashi bowl; it’s loaded with fresh fish and tastes fantastic. And the spicy chicken karaage, so crispy and juicy! Great vibes all around. Highly recommend!

Jin wa amazing, we were seated quick and his recommendations for sushi were spot on for my taste buds.

My family and I had been searching for a fine Japanese ramen and sushi restaurant since moving to the North Dallas area a couple of years ago, and we finally found our go-to spot. The food, service—everything was excellent. We loved everything we ordered (tuna rolls, miso spicy ramen, etc.), and my little son also loved his tonkatsu and udon. Highly recommend!

I am a regular customer with my kid for udon, donkatsu, and mochi ice cream. Donkatsu is very crispy and tasty. All the adults and kids I have been with were satisfied with the taste. Even the side salad is really great with sesame dressing. I wish they could serve more. Pokes have a variety of taste with healthy ingredients, some are spicy and some are not, so you can choose from whichever you want.
Servers are kind and respond promptly, which is really important to me because I am impatient. The more I visit, the more I am satisfied.

I don't know what's happened to this place since it opened. First - one slice of meat? I can get more meat from a Taco Bell taco than what I get in my ramen. When this place first opened the portion was amazing. The broth development is gone as well. You can tell that there is no more love given to developing the depth of flavor their ramen once had. Now you have to add spicy oil or soy sauce to get flavor. At that point, you can just go get Pho. Also, the ramen noodles itself have changed. So sad. We used to eat at here weekly in the cooler months.

For vegan people would not recommend this place. They don’t have options and had only one vegan ramen which wasn’t flavorful at all and was extremely salty.

Vegetarian options: Very less option. Only one vegan ramen that too doesn’t taste good. I have tried multiple places with vegan options but this wasn’t flavorful and excessive salty.

This food was delicious. I will definitely be going back to get the karaage and to try another ramen. The pork cutlet that my husband got was delicious too. The serving sizes were huge too. I got extra noodles and that seemed like another serving size. Didn't see the whole establishment since we sat in the front. Played Kpop, some old songs and new ones, which I loved.
