This is the best italian food in Flower Mound and Highland Village, hands down. Aaron the owner cares about his customers and it shows. Their Family Style Feasts are the perfect way to keep things simple on a weeknight, for a party, or for any of the holidays. What a deal!

This place was great! We all loved our food, and the service! We got happy hour old fashions that were amazing. Gary was friendly and welcoming! We will be back for sure. plus they had a kitty cat donation/adoption card station set up at a little table for christmas, and that goes right to my heart, so you just know these people are good at heart! We have been going to this restaurant before they moved from Flower Mound. The service and food are outstanding. The service includes a visit from the owner, when he is on site and always includes attention to our wine requests and food.

Amazing service and food. So many excellent choices to choose from, I had to sample the sauces and figured that would make the choice even easier. I was wrong. The food is amazing. Your taste buds will think they have been transported to Souther Italy. Everything fresh and delicious and I was surprised by the bill. The quality and taste is fitting of food that should easily be more expensive but they are way beyond reasonable and fair.

Get the vodka sauce it's out if this world!

I really looked forward to a meal at Salerno's. The steak appetizer is incredible. But when I got the lobster bisque, I expected something comparable to Bisteca (sister restaurant across the street), but instead received a gelatin looking paste that must have come out of a can. It tasted terrible and I sent it back without another bite. I expected that it would be taken off the ticket, but it was not. Even the waiter said that people have said it was not as good as their sister restaurant. Overall, the staff is great, but the food is sub-standard. And after spending over $100 with tip, I would hope that it would have been better. Perhaps the owners have given up on this restaurant and continue to enjoy the success of their sister restaurant.

We went for my Aunt and Uncle's wedding anniversary. The venue room was great and the waitstaff were amazing, very attentive and friendly. The food was mediocre at best with the limited menu we had to order from. However, the appetizers were delicious - I would had rather eaten those than the main course! I ordered the shrimp scampi and was not impressed with any of it, which was disappointing considering the appetizers had been so good. I would go back in a group setting to give it another shot, but would likely not go back on my own accord.

Great Italian joint. We celebrated an anniversary here with a small menu that was amazing. The service was great for our party of 25.

My husband and I decided to try this place as we had never been. Let's just say, when the service and atmosphere are the best parts of the meal, you know you made a wrong decision. We got the side salad which was drowning in dressing (have a little salad with your dressing!)...I sent mine back for dressing on the side. The server got my husband's order wrong, he ordered the Venicia but received the Florencia. He said it was good, but not what he wanted. I got the Lillian, again, drowning in sauce (think of soup with some linguine in it) and, the description doesn't say it, but the chicken was coated with flour before it was cooked. I didn't eat the linguine because SO. MUCH. SAUCE! I scraped off the coating on the chicken, but it was bland and overcooked. The bread was dry and flavorless. We got cake of the cow...it was ok...good thing there was pudding and lots of whipped cream because the cake was super dry. SERVICE was impeccable and friendly! Atmosphere was casual and friendly. Those things are important, but when you pay close to $100 for a meal, the food is just as important. Overall, we were disappointed and will not go back.
