Sara’s Donut Story Flower Mound

Delicious Donuts! This place is popular so show up early for the best selection as they do sell out sometimes fast. Their apple fritter was top notch with crisp exterior and gooey inside packed full of flavor. Staff were friendly and service was fast. Their prices are good especially with how everything tasted. Overall if you love donuts give them a try!

Went in just expecting a donut, but left with 2 and a freebie because her son made some cute anime keychains. The atmosphere is exceptional and beautifully decorated with lots of animals, studio ghibli, and flowers and really makes you feel like you step into another world. Will 100% be stopping by again when I'm in need of donuts and amazing service!

I felt Sara's dedication to her daughter Grace was done in a respectful manner and yet pleasing to the shop. You can clearly feel a mother's love and thats the type of donuts you get. Before this I was a bit apprehensive because I thought this could be awkward or tacky but no.... it is a beautiful dedication to the memory. I have never seen another shop quite like this or felt love and pride radiate as strongly.

Priced fairly and cooked to perfection. My personal favorites were the berry flavored ones. I would gladly buy a box of everything. Crossiant donuts weren't ready when I arrived around 5ish in the morning.

Sara was very sweet and gracious in helping me find treats to appease my wife. If I'm ever in the area, I will find myself saying a prayer for Grace, Sara and staff and try to pull over for some donuts.

This long standing Flower Mound staple is the best!!! Sara and Rachel will always greet you with a warm welcoming smile and their donuts are the best. I love this charming donut shop and the family who runs it. They have wonderful gourmet donuts and options for dietary restrictions. Go visit those wonderful donut shop!!!!

I'm a little late writing this post as we went in early May and its now late July. This donut shop was a great find while we were in town, We got an assortment of gourment donuts (my fav being cookies n creme, smores, strawberry shortcake). We would visit Sara's again if we stay in Flower Mound for NASCAR again!

Years of traveling and finding it sometimes make it tricky to find a vegan donut let alone one that is nearly life changing. If this place comes up under you search for donuts (vegan or not) you are wasting your time not just heading here. Is it closed? Go wait until the next time they open and get whatever you can. Sara and her family have created a beautifully peaceful establishment that is like no other I’ve been to.

Would also like to note this is the first time in over a decade of traveling for work I’m leaving a review and could be the last.
