The Point After North

This is a good local neighborhood place with lots of regulars. The food is good bar fare and made to order. After the bartender has served you a couple of times, they'll often have your drink out to you as soon as you sit down.

Great place to hang out with friends. Atmosphere good . Band was good . Staff great . Food decent .

Live music was good on Friday night, two 7 foot cash fed pool tables, dollar per game. Only one waitress and one bartender the night we went but place was full, service was slower but she did a good job. Old fashioned was practically just a shot of whiskey, no simple, bitters, nor orange flavor or garnish. My fault for ordering it at a five bar like this place. Overall it’s a cool local spot, nothing super major to complain about, laid back and you can have a good time. We didn’t try food.

Met a retiree that owned an compendium of knowledge. Met a corporate sales guy that use to do business in southeast China, $700k house in Flower Mound. Met a Mark that don't talk much. Cast of characters, and a few young cubs that haven't incorporated playing well with other dudes. Playing well with other dudes is an authentic impetus to increasing income. But young cubs, aren't young lions. Because... they're young cubs 😅

On a odd note. I may not be Sherlock Holmes or Matlock, but we know when a person is trying to not act as an upstanding citizen.

A bartender stated she said something about the payment. I keep everything above board, preferably. Even had my beer cash on table as a good faith gesture. I can't remember every license plate number of every vehicle I drove. But I do remember this particular bartender did not say anything, and just took the money. Its under $20, petty cash and also at the same time be careful the people you allow in your circle. Talk, vet, have fun.

Or keep it real, have fun, earn respect.

I was told I was 3 songs away from singing next then kicked out of the establishment when I went to ask after the third song why I didn’t have a place in line, the dj on Thursday night was a pompous and extremely rude. I will never go back again. Rip jason

Food was cold, waiter took forever to bring food out, and there were FLIES AND GNATS all over our table!!!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND and I will NEVER come back‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

A great local bar that usually has live music on the weekends. Expect to see a core local group anytime you come.

They have recently gone up on their shot prices. Casamigos is about 15 a shot now... All the prices seem to have gone up astronomically, but they have done nothing to fix the dirty torn floors. Fix the ripped and out of date furniture, or actually clean the place.
The music they host is great, and the only reason I occasionally go.
I don't mind the dive bar atmosphere... But they are a dive bar charging premium prices. Some of the highest in the area. If you wanna be a dive bar, don't screw your regulars.

Btw. The bartenders and servers are great. I don't blame them for what's happened over the last few months.
