Stopped at the Tavern while I was in Texas for business. Excellent dining experience.

Had a fantastic time at The Tavern at Lakeside celebrating my boys’ birthdays! The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. Our waitress went above and beyond to bring out two special desserts with sparklers — my kids were thrilled and still talk about it. Great food, great vibe, and very family-friendly. Highly recommend for a relaxed meal or special occasion!

Came here for a few drinks after a work meeting with some of my coworkers. Didn't try any food at the time but they had a good selection of beers on tap and the service was on point.

Food quality is declining. Togarashi Tuna Salad was not good last week. Tuna was overcooked with gristle and bones. Ordered the steak and smash today and the steak was WAY overcooked and everything was over-seasoned.
They took the meatloaf off the menu which was arguably the best thing there. The bartender told me they’ve had a lot of complaints about this.
They also got rid of the lemon pepper chicken; another popular one. Both of these were considered “signature items“. How/why can/would a restaurant get rid of their signature items?
The positive: Service was great!
Draft beer has gotten ridiculously expensive. Seven dollars during happy hour for Miller is stupid.

Upscale, open air restaurant and bar. Youthful wait staff is both attentive, green, and younger than the customers. I ordered the spinach and artichoke dip and the presentation was good, but the dip was runny. Lively atmosphere that’s open to the outside so you could take full advantage of the summer heat. Plenty of TVs, beer taps, and a fully stocked bar. I look forward to returning and trying additional items on their menu.

Consistently good food and always hot and fresh. Stingy on bathrooms (total of 2 toilets - 1 in each large private restroom!!) for the entire place.

Had about large party around 5:30pm. Very long service times.
Plus, a fly dive bombed straight into my beer.
Not the worst experience.

Ribeye was almost too tough to cut with a serrated steak knife. Not worth the $34 price. Service was slow. Like many restaurants, this one was blaring music making conversation difficult to hear.

Still too many flies but the food is delicious and on Tuesdays quite affordable.

Staff was friendly and efficient. We both ordered fish and chips. Portion size was ample and very tasty. Noise level was uncomfortably loud, especially when background music was playing. For us, it made conversation difficult. Restrooms were impressively clean.
If we go back we might try the outside seating.
Delicious food and drinks

This place was casual and all the employees were friendly and polite.
The food was good and atmosphere was nice as well.
We had the pulled pork sandwich and the chicken Alfredo meals both were great tasting and totally satisfying.
The vampire dip with pita bread and celery and carrots was great it was a favorite of the waitress and the Tres Leches cheese cake was good too.
I’d recommend you trying it out.

The food and atmosphere was great. It was super busy though so it was a bit loud and the flies were a bother with the doors open.
