We visited Verf's on 9/19/25 and Jose F was our waiter. The food was wonderful, and our waiter Jose did an excellent job checking on us but not becoming annoying by constantly asking if we needed anything. We sat near the bar which was a tad noisy, but the booth we were seated in was uncomfortable and better suited for larger people b/c the table is too far away from the seats. And our table had an uneven wood surface as we cut into our food. Lastly, the $2.50 discount...

Food was good and service was quick, but in this day and age, having no allergy menu is going to drop your rating. I was able to have my waiter walk me through modifying my meal to meet my needs, but a simple icon next to the dish on the menu could have told me to choose something else.

Tried Verf's Grill and Tavern for the first time. Walking in was greeting very quickly and seated. Nice setup with a large bar. Lots of TVs for viewing. Had sports and news on which i liked for the lunch tine. Menu seems to have lots of choices. I went with the fish and chips.
