I went to Applebee’s today we ordered the two for 35. We ordered the Caesar salad they didn’t have any Romaine lettuce so they stated they could give us the lettuce that comes on the house salad when the salad came out the lettuce on the salad was wilted so we sent it back and asked for the boneless wings. We also ordered the salmon with the mashed potatoes and broccoli and a half rack of ribs and loaded mashed potatoes when my rib came out, they were dry and overcooked. The salmon was also overcooked to which we told our waitress who apologized and told her manager once the manager comes over she says do we ever fix anything right for you? I told her that we will pay for the wings drinks and the mashed potatoes I ate and she can keep the rest of the food because again it came out completely dry

The food was not that great we had broccoli chicken Alfredo everything taste like broccoli I don't know if they boiled everything in broccoli. It just really wasn't that great and they forgot our salads as well. We did the special two you pick a appetizer you pick your main meal two of them and then you get two sides well, we go cheese sticks two side salads and two broccoli chicken Alfredo yes I forgot the salads
Everything was just ok. The food, the drinks, the service all ok. It's not bad, but not great either.
Kid-friendliness: They have a pretty good kids menu. There are a lot of options.

New Forney resident, first and last time at this Applebees. We entered into a dated time warp that didn’t reflect the modern day Applebees. The furniture and decor was very outdated and the lights were very bright, even in the bar. We sat at the bar and it was like being in a cafe. A customer sat across from us on talking on his cell phone and vaping at the bar, which was not only annoying, but disgusting. The service was mediocre at best and the food was awful. This place needs a complete overhaul and non vaping customers. It was gross for sure and I won’t be back.

Ordered the ribs, they were dry and burnt. My kids ordered the burger and fries, the fries were old and soggy. The restaurant had only a few tables so there was no reason why we waited so long just to get drinks. Will never go back. The most unpleasant experience I’ve ever had at an Applebees.

Love, just love Applebee's! I have the double crunch shrimp, which was delicious, well seasoned, fresh, and hot. The service was amazing, and it was definitely fast and efficient. I definitely appreciate how kind they were. Bathrooms were very clean as well. Definitely enjoyed myself !

Decided to try it again for my daughter's birthday because we wanted someone to sing to her but Outback and Texas Roadhouse had too long of a waiting list. Anyway the restaurant is run down and dirty... looks like an old dive bar. The food was all horrible. Chips were stale, Mozzarella sticks were undercooked, fries were cold, burgers were so greasy it ruined the veggies and made the bun super soggy, the kids corn dogs were way overcooked and the pizza was doughy and almost raw feeling, and the side salad had lettuce that had turned black. Then I ask for the birthday dessert and they just bring out the dessert with no singing. They say they haven't done it since covid ?♀️ literally spent $100 and threw it all in the trash. So disappointed and wish I had just taken her to McDonald's ?♀️?

Love Applebee's! Last time I was there I ordered the Clubhouse Grille Sandwich(I think that's the name) and it was so delicious and filling. Our server was also great. The amount of different channels on the tvs around the walls threw me off a bit, but I was with family so it wasn't really a problem.

At first I thought this visit wasn't going to be that great. The table was sticky, the waitress was average but once they kindly moved us and our waitress had more free time( and overhead it was my daughter's birthday) she gave my daughters refills on specially drinks. The side helpings could have been larger on the entrees but the kid meal servings made up for it! Even though it was near closing time we never felt rushed! First time to post a review but I've ate there over a dozen times when I lived in Forney. Definitely will go back, this time pay more attention to the menu and order the 2 for $25!! Birthday girl loved her food and special popping candy drinks! I will return to sample/ review more dishes and edit or update as needed.
Kid-friendliness: Great for pre-teen/ teen family birthdays for the local area!

The only downside is that they do last call at 1145 and they close at 1am? Many customers have walked out because of this. They are losing a lot of business having last call at an early time.
