Restaurants in Forney

“Brunch Room Bistro Review: I had an amazing experience at Brunch Room Bistro, and there are several reasons why this spot stands out. Attentive and Grounded Ownership** Cristal, the owner, is incredibly attentive and genuinely grounded. She makes you feel welcome from the moment you step in and stays on top of details without being overbearing. Her commitment to the community shines through in how she supports other local restaurants and neighborhoods. Supportive Local Network** Cristal actively refers guests to other great tasting locations nearby. It’s refreshing to see a restaurant foster collaboration rather than competition, and it creates a craving to explore more of the local scene. Outstanding Service: Wesley** If you’re lucky, you’ll be served by Wesley. Wesley is knowledgeable and can guide you to plates that match your tastes and questions. His recommendations felt thoughtful and reliable, enhancing the overall dining experience. Fresh, Great-Tasting Food (Props to the Cooks): The food tastes incredibly fresh, a credit to the cooks' skill and dedication. You can genuinely taste the quality and care in each dish. The emphasis on freshness sometimes means a touch of a longer wait, but the results are worth it meals aren’t sitting around pre-cooked; they’re prepared to order. Value for Money** Prices are affordable, especially when you consider portion sizes. The plates are generously sized—so large that I couldn’t finish mine. In terms of value, this makes Brunch Room Bistro a standout choice for generous portions at a fair price. Ambiance and Experience** The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for casual meals or celebratory brunches. The team’s collaborative energy with other local spots adds to a sense of community you don’t often see. If you’re planning a visit, I highly recommend asking for Wesley to tailor recommendations to your preferences. And keep an eye out for Cristal’s gracious hospitality and her local-restaurant network it's a refreshing rarity that elevates the whole dining landscape.”

“Hi guys, went to outback my husband and I for dinner and no when we walked in the young lady at the door was polite courteous when we were seated, our waitress was named SHONIYA she was outstanding, her mannerisms was so sweet. You can help but love her. She made us feel welcome and she paid lots of attention to all her customers. I watched to work the Restaurant and I cannot say enough about the cook who prepared the steak. It was a 20 ounce ribeye bone in when I tell you he cooked that steak off the chain it was beautiful tender cooked to perfection. His name was Zach. “The Love Confection came through for me this week. 2 days prior my 18th anniversary I finally remembered that it was our anniversary this week. AHHH! No worries, cause Love is around the corner with Love Confections. Love, the owner, understood how special this German Chocolate cake needed to be and she did not disappoint. My custom German Chocolate cake was ready for pick up the next day and saved my marriage. I'm a heavy set guy and I know my food. This cake had smooth chocolate, fresh and moist layered bread with pecans and coconut, with cherries on top. This was the best cake I could have asked for. Thank you The Love Confection”

“Absolutely fantastic Italian food. The crust was perfectly baked with just the right balance of crisp and chew, and the filling was rich, flavorful, and clearly made with fresh ingredients. The sauce on the side had a great depth of flavor and paired perfectly with every bite.

You can tell care went into the preparation, from the texture of the dough to the seasoning of the filling. Even the simple details stood out. This is the kind of place that delivers comfort food done right.

Definitely a 5-star experience. I’ll be back for more.”

“Went to Bushs Chicken in Forney the other day. I used to work in central Texas many years ago and went to BC all the time. I only recently found out there’s one in Forney. For the price point and atmosphere, Napoli’s is second to none! Be sure to check out the rigatoni over Pink Sauxe ( slightly spicy)… a game changer. 1000 x’s better than Eno’s”

“food here is great. the problem the staff is incompetent or flat out lazy. so you'll have to do their job for them in order to get what you actually wanted and paid for. DO BETTER”

“This was my very first visit to Jersey Mike’s, and at first I was honestly nervous. As soon as I saw the prep area and how many hands each sandwich passed through, I was scared and almost walked out without ordering. With celiac disease, cross-contamination is always a serious concern for me, and most restaurants don’t take it as seriously as they should. But the team working around 5:30p yesterday (08/16), absolutely amazed me. Before I even had to ask, they explained their entire process for handling gluten safely. They changed gloves, opened new lettuce, and prepared everything with such care and confidence. It was clear they were educated about cross contamination and took every precaution. What impressed me even more was their attitude — they weren’t just careful, they were genuinely happy to do it. In this day and age, it’s sad that more restaurants don’t take these steps, but Jersey Mike’s truly stood out. I left feeling my food was safe, cared for, and extremely impressed. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending this location to others!”

“I never had issues with Raising Cane’s until recently. I needed to break a $100 so I paid cash for a $15.04 meal. It took a while for the first window to return my change at some point she referred back to her co-worker in regards of the change to give back, I even noticed the lady returning my change counting on her fingers..(which is fine). I get to the second window, receive my food and I pulled up like I always do to make sure I have everything. Well I was missing $4 from my change. I went back in line and informed them of what just transpired. The manager checked the system and informed me that everything looks good and everything equals out. My response was that I am missing $4 and I only received 80.96 back. She again checked the system and again stated everything looked right. At this point I’m bothered. I then tell her look I’m missing $4 from my change I have no reason to lie or try to steal money. She then stated that she would give me the $4 and she took my name and number. Yes she handled the situation great but I was bothered at her informing me that the system was right or equal and that nothing is off TWO times. Clearly they were off because the change I received was incorrect.”

“I would like to take the time to give Bradley and Sondra recognition for an amazing experience!! Bradley is a new employee and provided great service and patience, and when I had the opportunity to speak with Sandra, WOW! Amazing customer service (Customer Focused)! Both of these employees expressed characteristics that cannot be taught, major kudos for these individuals! Thank you so much for my experience and the food is amazing!”
