The only thing that turned me off was we were asked to leave about 15 mins after we paid the bill. We were sitting finishing up our coffee and chatting. Please note there was no line waiting and open tables.

Absolutely the best Soul Food in the area. Great Decor , Clean and with Easy Parking. Sexy Drinks , including their Mocktails. Main dishes are like no other dishes in the entire neighborhood. This Beautiful Gem is a definite MUST TRY and bring friends and family to impress type of restaurant.
I had the Delicious Ox Tails with Red Beans & Rice. The Ox Tail was completely falling off the bone tender and juicy. Sitting comfortably in a bowl with a few Veggies like onions, a green bell pepper, garlic and carrots. Garnished off with a fresh vibrant flower. The Red Beans & Rice weren't too spicy but definitely came with a nice kick. Nothing mushy about it, cooked with love and perfection.
My brunch partners had the Finger-Licking Crispy Golden fried Chicken Wings, which DID NOT last very long on the table since everyone dove right in for them. With The THICKEST French Toast I've seen.
It was truly an eye-popping plate after plate after plate yall. The mocktail : Pineapple Bliss had Pineapple puree and real pineapple chunks swimming in sprite, couldn't get enough of it. The Double Cherry Shirley Temple was on point, Smooth & Bubbly sprite with a sharp cherry after taste, yum!
The Beautiful Waitresses with their support staff were always attentive and quick on their feet. My drink never ran low and the food was delivered as soon as it was ready from the kitchen. Not to mention, LIVE soft Jazz, soul music playing in the background and with EVERYTHING being handmade and fresh to order.
I CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK!!!!! See yall soon!

Went on a Saturday and didn't have to wait long, which was nice. There was plenty of (friendly)staff to keep things moving along smoothly. The DJ and live band alternated R&B classics for a cool daytime vibe. I can't say enough about how good the food was...fried green tomatoes, pancakes, fish and grits, meatloaf, etc, etc,. We will be returning!

The reviews rarely lie…this place really IS the bomb. The oxtail was cooked to perfection and I haven’t had cornbread this good in a while! I recommend coming during the week, as the service might be quicker. I’m so glad I gave Brunch Room a shot while I was in Dallas.

Everything tastes the same except for the nastiest gravy I have ever had. The gravy tasted like they used spoiled milk. Service was ridiculously bad including presenting our bill right after we started eating. It's like they wanted us to leave. Juxtaposed to how long it took to be initially greeted at our table.
