I will never go back here the chicken is alway old n hard never what time u go to this place. For a chicken place in the dfw area to not have fresh chicken is crazy or it be seasoned i mean put some salt on it least. And asking to wait for fresh chicken they look like it's a problem.

If I could give a zero I would there’s no reason why someone should have to wait 20 plus minutes for a order to be taken when no one is in line finally just decided to leave after no response ridiculous

Normally when I come to Chicken Express, the food can be hit or miss—sometimes I’ve received wrong orders, cold food, or missing items. However, my last few visits have been a big improvement. The orders have been correct, the food hot and fresh, and the customer service surprisingly great. It really seems like you all have stepped things up over the past couple of months, and it’s much appreciated!

Put in an order for fish to pick up. When u came to pick up at the time I was given food hadn’t even been started on and then was told they that were out of fish but wouldn’t give me a refund!!!!!

I stopped by to pick up dinner for my wife and granddaughter. We placed our order with only a slight wait. We.drove around to pay and was informed that our order of 20 mixed tenders with mashed potatoes and gravy with a side order or okra and another large order of mashed potatoes totaled 62.23. Needless to say this will be our last trip to any chicken express. Thisnis way too much for chicken tenders and a few sides. The family size mashed potatoes were in a container that was barely enough for one person let alone a FAMILY. Don't waste your hard earned money for what you get here..Don't get me wrong the food is OUTSTANDING but not for 62.00 To top this allmoff when I got home there were no rolls as there were supposed to be at least 4 for a family meal to share.

I always drive through the Forney Chicken Express and I'm never disappointed in the quality and price of the food. And the variation, including mashed potatoes and gravy, corn on the cob, fried fish and chicken, cole slaw, sweet tea, and more. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Picked up lunch here. Food was hot, fresh, and delicious! The guy at the window was nice and seemed like he actually wanted to be there. Rare these days. Good job team!

The customer service was fine as usual for me, but the food was terrible. I ordered the 2pc fillet fish meal and had to park. When I got my food the fish was way too salty and not tolerable at all, the fries were cold. What a disappointment, I was on my lunch break and couldn't go back. I always try to give this chicken express a benefit of many doubts and poor quality food, but it never changes! Last time going here, so pathetic!

Overall experience was just disappointing and pointless to have even come here. Around 2:00pm on Sundays, the staff does not care so come at a different time, or better yet go somewhere else. There was no courtesy and respect for customers, others and I would wait long for just a response, the food was overcooked, and the tables were not cleaned. But at least the order was correct so they get one point.

I went around 6pm and the family tenders were over cooked, they were not fresh and either had been sitting under a heating lamp or cooked with old oil. My chicken tenders consisted mainly of batter because the actual chicken tenders was small. To be honest I’ve had shrimps from other places that were bigger than their tenders. Save your money and don’t buy it.

Sat in the drive through for 10 minutes before I was told that they were closing 30 minutes before their scheduled time due to having only 1 cook and the delivery truck being unloaded. My suggestion higher some more people!!!

This is my fourth time at this Chicken Express in the past four years—and unfortunately, every time has been a disappointment. I had hoped that waiting six months before giving it another shot would lead to a better experience, but that wasn’t the case.

The chicken tenders were overcooked, the corn nuggets were cold, and I didn’t even receive the gravy. I couldn’t bring myself to eat the food—I ended up giving the chicken to my dogs.

It’s not even about the money. It’s the fact that when I decide to pick up food to give myself a break from cooking for a family of five, I expect to at least be able to relax and enjoy something decent. What frustrates me most is the time and energy wasted.

It’s a shame, really. I’ve eaten at Chicken Express locations all over Texas, and they consistently meet expectations. I don’t know why this particular location just can’t seem to get it right.
