Just a really neat place! It's so hard finding these special places. Brisket was awesome! Loved the Texas twinkies! Best mac and cheese! The nachos were great, I only recommend finding a different chip. Will definitely stop in again sometime!

The food was really good! In fact, I was quite surprised how good it was. The only reason I have it four stars was the tea. It wasn't real tea. It was similar to Arizona Ice Tea, like a synthetic type of tea rather than a brewed tea. My nephew was with us and said the same thing. I poured mine out and got water. That's the only constructive criticism I have for them, brew real tea. I don't like eating out, but it's absolutely easy there again (minus the nasty tea)!

For a $70 plate I simply should have gotten all my items. Out of tx Twinkies which was the main reason we wanted to try them. I reached out and didn’t even get a partial refund or the option to pick some up the next day. For that I will not be back. Two stars for beans and Turkey.
My Goodness!!! Food was flavored like its suppose to be!!! I have been looking high and low out here and I believe I found the spot!!! Brisket flavorful,beans so dang good flavorful,chicken taco birria good and consome flavorful,rice had flavor and lastly the cabbage was just ok needs more flavor... Turkey was sold out but definitely trying again!!! And they forgot my chips to go with salsa I ordered through DoorDash but overall I’m very satisfied…

The food was great. It was seasoned with the perfect flavor. I would say it is a little pricey I took my granddaughter and it cost me 41 dollars for 4 tamales and 2 sides.

I was so hurt today when I went to El Tejas Twist. I ordered and PAID for my food well in advance and asked them to set my food aside for when I pick it up and they still SOLD part of my order despite me already have paid for it and ran out of the food I wanted. So I received a refund for that item and was fine but I get home and they sold me overcooked, mushy rice!!! I have been going to them for a few years now and this has been the worse experience I’ve had. This is very disappointing considering the amount of money I spend EVERY TIME I go here.

best bbq I’ve had hands down and Mexican food is superb! I’m not one to just give out 5 stars and leave a review but they truly deserve it. Amazing customer service and everyone there is helpful and nice. Do yourself a favor and eat here, you won’t regret it.
