We recently moved to the area and were looking for a new Chinese restaurant. Although the phone order experience was unfriendly, we decided to give it a try. Upon arrival, the white woman at the register, greeted us with a unfriendly 'how can I help you' without a smile or hello. The Chinese staff member who took the person behind me order seemed pretty pleased. The food was generally good, with the orange chicken being a highlight. However, the restaurant needs to work on their staff's attitude.

After 4pm you can only order large portions. Not cool for a person looking for a quick bite. During this time. When asked why, they said that what yhe owner wants..... idk.

I've been eating at Hong Kong Express for what seems like 20 years, I think. I have never had a poor experience, and the food is always hot and fresh, even with delivery. The egg rolls/spring rolls in particular have good flavor and are crunchy/fresh. The good is seasoned evenly, not too salty or bland. As for the service, they get busy so there's not a lot of time to chit-chat, but they are never rude, always pleasant even when feeling rushed. The price/quality is well-balanced. I will always be a customer.

Love Hong Kong Express!! I find myself coming here just about every week for takeout. Good food and good prices! The lunch prices are especially reasonable. I order the lo mein and chicken with broccoli. However, I have tried a good variety of their food and it’s all been delicious! Definitely recommend! The lunch special comes with an entree, fried rice, and an egg roll.

We tried Hongkong Express and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience from start to finish. The staff didn’t seem very friendly or welcoming — it felt like they didn’t enjoy being there.
We ordered shrimp fried rice and combo friend rice and the taste was awful, we had to throw the food away and even my husband got sick after eating eat.
We were really disappointed. We won’t be returning.

Horrible customer service. I called to get the prices and the lady answering was rude and said I could come to the store if I wanna know the prices. So I cancelled the order.
Made a mistake with my online order and they were not accommodating as if a $16 meal will close down their business ….which we purchased $40 worth a food. Will not be returning!

Ignore other reviews this place is so good I almost got it 3 meals in a row. I ordered online and immediately drove there on Thurs night and Fri at lunch time and my order was ready when I walked in both times. In the picture it's Mongolian beef with lo mein and I asked for no veggies. 10/10
