Passing through and saw this on Google Maps. We try to support local wherever we go. The bakery is NOT too far from the highway (5/7 min. detour) & DEFINITELY worth the stop. It's a small bakery with a lot to offer. I bought a couple cherry/cream cheese danishes & blueberry muffins. The cherry danish was really yummy! I'm glad I had my husband make this detour. Maybe next time maybe we will have time to enjoy some of their sandwiches. The lady who attended to me was very nice. Always nice to see a smiling face.

Typically I am very understanding with places because everyone makes mistakes but everytime I have gone to Lathams something has been wrong with my order at both of the forney locations. The young lady who took my order didn’t have a great attitude and didn’t ask me about my phone number for points. I love the atmosphere and the idea of a bakery but for my orders to always have something wrong is ridiculous especially when I’m paying an up charge for add ons and tipping as well.

Food is "awesome," especially the Tomato soup!! I've tried 2 different panini's, love the sauerkraut & cornbeef the best. Absolutely "loved" the German potato salad! Salads are great but amount is small for the price.
