My husband and I love trying different restaurants and The food (Boudin Balls) we’re absolutely delicious. The atmosphere feels like you’re in New Orleans, and the Service is Impeccable! LaLa and the staff are so professional and friendly, I feel like I just met more family members, they know you when you walk through the door!

I don’t live out here, but every time I past this place for any reason I stop! It’s a non-negotiable. I will fast and not eat to justify the stop. Like right now as I type this I feed my family breakfast in the Colony, and did NOT eat planning on stopping here on our way back to Longview. Long story short Great food, Great staff, Great owner (who interacts with customers, and food speaks for itself!!! Best Cajun spot in the Lone Star State NO debate!! Mr. Cajun’s stands on bidnezz!!

One of the best black owned spots here in Forney!!!! From the waitress to the managers to the food, everything was amazing! Brooke did her thang with that banana pudding and sweet potato cornbread!!!! 10/10 highly recommended!!!!

I Got 2 Cajun oxtail plants and a Catfish Plate for my mother and some drinks . The Oxtails or terrible there was no Cajun flavor they taste like they where boiled with seafood( on the menu it says shellfish next to Oxtails, Nasty ?) and the Catfish taste like a White person tried to fry Catfish for the First Time. Never Again, I Drove 31 Minutes From Dallas to Forney to Try The Food. I Will Not Come Back. Oh I almost forgot The Cashier is a great worker and she have an amazing spirit……………You Are Embarrassing the State of Louisiana and Robbing Texans!

First time trying this place after seeing it on Instagram. I ordered the hot honey wings and the turkey neck. Oh my gawd, the turkey neck was ?. The wings were too sweet for my liking and over cooked but not unbearable. My friend liked them. I didn't get a drink because I was too focused on food.. after a few minutes "Mr Cajun" comes by and asked how things were (everyone had great customer service) he noticed I didn't have a drink and gave me a water and I quote "you got to hydrate bayybeee" ☺️Music was some old school rnb work some blues ?. Overall a great first experience and I will definitely go back to try other items! #Blackmamba
Mr. Cajun is a very professional and respectful restaurant. The food is really good I 10/10 recommend y’all go try it. Make sure you get a daiquiri as well and some dessert.

We absolutely love coming to Mr. Cajun’s! The food is always fresh and delicious. Ms. B and her staff are always friendly and helpful. They welcome us like family each time we come to visit. The daiquiris are BOMB! We tried the Philadelphia Water Ice for the first time and loved it. Any amount we spend in this establishment is money well spent! Keep it coming, Mr. Cajun!!Red & Pam

This place is the best we order the oxtail shrimp turkey necks and the kids had fried shrimp and ramen. We always drive out to a place in Addison but this is way closer to home and the food is AMAZING!!! Also the service is very kind food was hot and the staff is GREAT this is definitely our go to and lucky for me they have another location opening in a month by my job!!! I will definitely be going to lunch here with the co workers next :)

After searching for a place to try some wings I was sadly underwhelmed. I ordered via door dash and The 6 piece with fries is overpriced to not even include a drink. The lemon pepper was mild and the wings were pretty small and mostly soggy. I like the flavor of the fries but they seemed a bit like when you reheat fries in the microwave (they even look that way). I guess I will have to stick with Wingstop when I'm home and in the mood for wings

Trying Mr. Cajuns did NOT disappoint. Everything from the oxtails to the seafood to the wings were ON POINT. It had the right amount of Cajun seasoning and did not need anything else. Can confidently say this made the clean plate club. The vibe and staff were amazing! Even got to meet Mr. Cajun himself. However it took 30-45 minutes to get everything and I get it we ordered ALOT of food. But they have a sign that says "Wr have good food not fast food". So needless to say we were pre warned. But does not stop me from going again and again. Pro tip: Go before you get hungry or call and order ahead of time before going.

I ordered the shrimp and fish meal. I asked the young lady prior to ordering if it was real catfish or swahi. She told me catfish. I do not like Swahi and I mentioned that. Well, it was swahi!!!! Overpriced at 23.99!!! I was totally disappointed. I would have ordered something else if I had known. I do not recommend this business. Service was slow and it just was not what I expected.
