I miss not having a Jets closer to Forney so I tried Mr. Jim’s Detroit-style pizza. I know it is considered traditional Detroit-style to put the sauce on the top, but for me it was just a little too saucy (again, I prefer Jets). But the taste was fine. I want to go again and try their traditional crust pizzas. I didn’t have a coupon, but they offered me one. Yet when they tried to ring it in I was told that it was expired. So they kind of got my hopes up for nothing. Had to pay full price.

So I would normally give these guys 4 stars as Mr Jim’s is usually the last best pizza spot however I ordered a pie on Saturday night and I requested less cheese, there was so much cheese I didn’t see tomato sauce and the pizza looked “off” well Sunday all day I was sick and throwing up so check your pizza before you leave because had I, I would’ve requested they remake it, the sick felt like some kind of minor food poisoning

Really nice pizza place with a great atmosphere and tasty food. The pizza was fresh and flavorful, and the overall experience was very pleasant. Lillian, who took my order, was very sweet and kind and had a positive attitude that made the visit even better. Small interactions like that really make a difference. Overall, a great spot for good pizza and friendly people. I would definitely come back.

Hands down the BEST pizza in Forney! Fresh! Dough made in house not taken from a frozen box. Big Box Pizza places, you could never!!!! I even read some other reviews and I don’t know where you’re going but clearly it’s not here. Focus on the food and not looking for someone to kiss your backside because you walked through the door! The Sticky Fingers is amazing. Cinnamon sticks that are not cardboard the next morning! Don’t walk RUN!!! These guys are passionate about their product and it shows. Ordered delivery and it was at the front door within 30 minutes piping hot! Only place we’re getting pizza from from now on!

Do not order!!!! Scammed out of $50 Sent burnt cold pizza under cooked wings old lettuce in salad mussing soda and had to get food and soda somewhere else sorry excuse for food!! Told they would cancel order but never did!! Food complete unedible!!!! Should be closed down!!! They will not pick up the phone!!!!

Mr. Jim’s, I really tried to give you a fair shot. I’ve only been to this location twice, and unfortunately, that’s two times too many.
My first visit, I had the Detroit-style BBQ pizza. Not bad at all—thick crust, solid flavor, a decent 7 out of 10. I actually left thinking, “Okay, maybe this place can compete with the big chains.” But then I made the mistake of coming back.
Second time around, I ordered the Pepperoni Deluxe. Deluxe? More like de-lacks. It was dry, bland, and practically sauce-less. There was barely any cheese, and the pepperoni tasted like it had been waiting for someone to eat it since last week. It was like eating dry dough with tired toppings. Honestly, I would've had a better experience chewing on a cardboard box.
And then there's the customer service—or lack thereof. A quiet teenager behind the counter, no greeting, no personality, and zero hospitality. I’m sure he’s a nice kid, but someone should explain to him that customer service involves at least making eye contact. His facial expression said, “Why are you even here?” and by the time I left, I was wondering the same thing.
Mr. Jim’s, I love supporting mom-and-pop restaurants. I wanted to like your place. I was hoping to find a hidden gem that outshines the big brands. But instead, I found inconsistency, indifference, and disappointment.
With Little Caesar’s literally right across the street, you’d think you’d step your game up to earn new customers. But instead, you made it really easy for me to decide not to come back.
